After more than 15 years moving the dance floor playing soul, funk, disco and house, Javi Frias has begun to make some noise in the disco scene with his incendiary edits. In less than a year he has released several EPs and tracks on key labels like Midnight Riot, Editorial, Giant Cuts or Spa In Disco. Now he has a new EP for the Brazilian label 'About Disco'. Two obscure funk and disco tunes that are sounding completely renewed once they have been reworked by the Spanish producer. 'Do It Again' it is a soulful mid tempo plenty of nice arrangements, where the groove and the percussion are the stars, while 'The Big C' is much closer to house, but never losing it's soul, with such as effective sound effects and the big drum break.
