About us:
The cause is a temporary DIY space for London, celebrating dance music culture, London nightlife, independent business and positive mental health. Held within an ex car-mechanics depot, recently turned into a multi-functional community project that supports arts, independent business, start-ups and a community garden from our neighbours Grow.

The industrial venue hosts a labyrinth of interconnecting outdoor and indoor spaces and will operate for around 18 months, bringing arts and electronic music to North London, whilst using best endeavours to raise awareness and funds for both local and national mental health charities.

Brought to you by one half of the infamous The London Loft Party and allies met along the journey, everything has been built in-house by a group of friends with passion, attention and detail.

The site also provides low risk space for local start-ups and co-working freelancers, unique locations for filming and photo-shoots, a cafe as well as hosting a wide variety of community events. Above the main room we house a dog-training centre and daycare, a tattooist and in our cocktail bar, Idris Barbering Co provide the best cuts in North London during the day.

Our custom built Core Soundsystem has been hand-made on site with love by our friends Milton and Bruno. The DJ booth is built by our creative director Eugene from solid concrete, specifically with world class electronic artists in mind, slap bang in the middle of the dancefloor. The bar has been built from recycled steel and reclaimed wood, painted and decorated by volunteers.

The site is an eco-system, constantly evolving and built upon trading skills, space and talent all giving birth to a truly unique grass roots space.
