The propaganda show - First broadcast by RESONANCE FM, London, 20-08-2004 - A companion piece to THE FIRE THIS TIME

Written, directed, narrated and mixed by Grant Wakefield

Following the release of THE FIRE THIS TIME, and as part of continued efforts to publicise the effect of the sanctions and bombing of Iraq, and the means by which such policies are communicated to the public,
Grant Wakefield took part in / hosted 3 radio shows for London's RESONANCE FM.

This 3rd solo show was produced to draw particular attention to the common abuses and manipulation of language used in propaganda, and to reveal and illuminate many of the companies and mechanisms employed during the 'manufacture of consent' and 'perception management.'

To be frank and in retrospect, some of the sound design and production techniques seem occasionally
over-bearing, but factually the program remains solid, though rather wordy.
