This podcast was originally created in late 2012 as part of the rhythm-podcast series, in order to create a sound collage that extends over the usual 4/4-patterns onto a wider sound spectrum. I wanted to show where i musically come from, what partly inspires me and just some music i really like.Nearly all of the featured tracks have been edited, re-cut or combined with field-recordings, accapellas, sound-fragments or other tunes, creating a flowing sound image which is hopefully more than a usual mix. Enjoy music from every spectrum, dont think in boundaries - thats not what music is about.

Osmose plays a wide variety of styles from Disco, Funk, Soul, Hip-Hop, Reggae, Deep House, Nudisco & more, but always keeps it analog! With over 15+ years experience behind the decks Osmose not only plays in Atlanta, but has a recurring DJ presence around the USA and Canada.

As of 2011 Osmose launched Smokecloud records, a vinyl only label that is mastered and pressed in the USA focussing on the slower side of soul-based dance music, staying below the 115-116 bpm range and is geared towards DJ’s that play a diverse collection of venues from nightclubs, lounges, cafes, bars and restaurants. DexleMaffo AKA Badr Khiyat is music lover from Rabat, Morocco. His love begun when he discovered Massive Attack, New Order, Eurythmics, Depeche Mode, and many more artists that used samples and synths in the late 70's and 80's. He begun to spin records for the first time in a record shop in Rabat, where he developed his music culture. His DJ sets are essentially a melting pot of groove, sexy and addictive Deep / Tech House. He was invited to play once a week @ Ness Radio and, at the same time, was a Dj Resident @ "Mai Thai Lounge" and "Le Grand Comptoir". He also played in many private parties in Casablanca, Rabat, Fès and Marrakech, sharing the decks with many names from the Moroccan electronic scene.
