As for the powerful belief in some scientific dogmas, often expressed by scientists, it also seems to have strong justification, even when it is a belief in the application of these dogmas in circumstances that go far beyond the original context in which they were obtained strong observational confirmation. Sometimes, outstanding physical theories from the past will maintain their great precision even when in certain cases they have been replaced by better theories that have a tees for men wider range of applicability or greater precision.
