Miss Groove Soul personally known as Francina Ramonyai was born and bred in Seshego a location situated near Polokwane city. She started listening to House music at the tender age of 14. Her love of music is more into Deep, Soulful,Afro and Dance House music inspired by Deejay Groove Candi and Lady Zeejay from Johannesburg. Since her deejaying career started in 2011 she has managed to play at places like Channel M,Europa, House 22, Short left Soshanguve, Cappello Sunnypark, Disoufeng Soweto, Vaal Monateng Café, Camel Rock Northern Cape, Club Euphoria, Maphungubwe Jazz Festival 2015, First Friday 2016, Catch up Zone Seshego, Industrial Shisanyama Polokwane ,Phangweni Vibes Festival 2014, Capricorn FM Lifestyle &Music Festival 2017, Kwa Lichaba Chisanyama Soweto,Spring Carnival at University of Limpopo. She’s currently a resident Mix deejay at Capricorn FM on the Saturday’s MixDownAvenue from 1:30 to 2am. Not only is she a deejay but she’s also a vocalist working with Local producers from Limpopo. She’s also a young business entrepreneur Co-director of an all female events company called Finest Divas United and Director of her own events company The Empress Groove aiming at empowering young and upcoming female deejays and artists to break in the music industry in a proper manner. Miss Groove Soul has played alongside both popular local and international deejays and artists like Black Coffee, Da Capo , Shimza, Harrison Crump, Abicah Soul, Ralf Gum, Frank Roger, Monique Bingham,Christos. Most recently she was featured on Ceezona –Heyahey Music Video which is rotationally being played on MTV Base and Channel O. Her musical ambitions include making her own music videos soon, making the Finest Divas United the most lucrative events company ever co-owned by ladies locally, nationally and internationally. Give young and upcoming female djs and artists a platform, guidance, show them ropes and encourage them that even if they are females they can still follow their dreams and achieve them without being taken advantage of by their counterparts.
