Biography:

Karabo Mogoai better known as Authentik by my friends and peers. I was born and raised in the West Rand of Johannesburg. From a very young age music was a part of my everyday life. Music is in its different forms.

My earliest inspiration to music was brought about by my late father who was a huge Jazz fan. I spent most of my time with him being drenched in the beautiful sounds.
Together with my mother and sister who have a soulful. They influenced my softer and sensual side of me in the music.

Many other genres also influence such as house, hip hop, kwaito to mention the least.
As I grew up I was always known to be the person who played the music loud :D Not much has changed though! I always wanted to become a DJ but I only started professionally since 2011/2012.I started DJing with a friend of mine who guided my through mixing very smoothly and sensually.

I've been gigging ever since 2012 (I'm still a baby in the game and have a whole lot to learn.) In the industry I can say I've been influenced by artists such as Jimpster, Charles Webster, Atjazz, Stimming, Kollektiv Turmstrasse, Addex, Pablo Bolivar, Lars Behrenroth, Jullian Gomes and Mz Sunday Luv to mention the least. I take pride in my craft and always put quality ahead of every set I play. I've been recording podcasts as well, Rejected Tainted House Sessions & House Etiquette. On these podcasts I displayed my vast taste in music. Deep House, Deep Tech, Electronic & Techno.

Mixed by Authentik[30 Mins] & A guest mix by Nuno(SEA)

Biography
Moeng Mokoena, aka Nuno (SEA), was born in Spokane, WA, USA. His love for music started at a young age when listening to his parents’ old records, which was heavily influenced by RnB and soul music. He soon took to his own style of music taken from the 90s era from a wide spectrum.
In 1995 Nuno moved to London, England, where he was exposed to dance and electronical music, which he took a strong liking to. In 1996 he moved to South Africa and has been there ever since.
Nuno got introduced to House music by some friends but didn’t like it much, until he heard Nick Holder – Summer Daze in 2000. Nuno started picking up House compilations and began to grow an appreciation for the genre.
After high school a friend introduced him to DJing, which gave him a more reason to collect music. After about two years of DJing, Nuno became bored of this activity and felt like there was more to this. 2007 Nuno got introduced to FL Studio 4 and his life changed.
Nuno taught himself the software and learned how to make music.
As the years went by he got better and was nudged by friends to start releasing his music. In 2013 he did just that by releasing a track on his podcast (House_To_Let), which then got picked up by Jesus Pablo – and the rest they say, is history...
