Ich kann es fast nicht in Worte fassen, wieviel es mir bedeutet euch heute den Ausnahme-Künstler Holger Hecler auf sound(ge)cloud zu präsentieren. Bow Freudensprünge im Quadrat !!!

Es war im Jahre 2012, ich war noch ganz frisch hier auf soundcloud, da bin ich über Holgers BachstelzenFusion 2012 Set gestolpert und war vom ersten Moment von seinem unwiderstehlichen Sound total überwältigt. Dieses Set ist mein meistgehörtes Set EVER. Und immer wenn ich denke bow heute ist irgendwie nicht mein Tag … werfe ich dieses Set an und sofort ist alles wieder gut.

Holger Hecler ist seit über 20 Jahren ein fester Bestandteil der Berliner Club Kultur. Ob beim Kollektiv Bachstelzen oder dem Kater Blau (Bar25), Holger ist immer dort wo Happenings entstehen die weit über Zeit und Raum hinausgehen. Seine zweite Heimat hat er auch beim grandiosen Kölner Label Feines Tier gefunden.

Es ist immer wieder faszinierende wie Holger es schafft Einflüsse verschiedenster Kulturen in eine Grundteppich von House und Techno zu verweben. Mal fängt die Reise in Südamerika an und schon steht man wieder auf einem Basar in Istanbul, um dann doch wieder mitten in Berlin auf dem Dancefloor die Augen zu öffnen und in glücklich lachende Tänzer zu blicken.

Holger viel Dank für deine Mühe und die Möglichkeit diese wunderbare Weltreise meinen Hörern präsentieren zu können.

I am happy that I have been able to play on one of their events already and I am honoured that they asked me to contribute a podcast to their new series "Isla Sonido".
