Herr Oppermann

(Rappelkiste / Tach & Nacht)

Grown up with the sound of the 80s, he discovered early a passion for electronic music, influenced by artists like Jan Hammer or Kraftwerk. With his passion for house, electronic sounds and mixing he had gigs at various clubs and festivals all over Germany – e. g. the „Sonne Mond und Sterne“ Festival (DJ Contest), the Juicy Beats Festival or the famous „Warehouse“ in Colgone, as well as a residency at the club “Electroosho” (Göttingen).

In the late 90s he was on air with the radio show “Kingz of Beat” out of the legendary Stammheim Club building. After a short break he continues his work in 2010 under the name „Herr Oppermann“ as a DJ & producer and part of the „Rappelkiste“ as well as the “Tach & Nacht” Label crew, both based in Hamburg.

His style is “changing, but always House” and varies between deep and minimal up to soulful house. Herr Oppermann combines classic parts of house music with the influence of modern minimal house elements.
