Pandhora - Oghab (Original Mix)

« Oghab » is the result of the collaboration between the french duo Pandhora and American - Persian singer/songwriter Aida Shahghasemi. Meeting at the crossing of their musical worlds, they provide us with this deep and soulful track.

Lyrics are inspired by a traditional poem written in 1943 by Parviz natel-Khanlari. The absurdity of the human condition is depicted through the point of view of an eagle which would rather die immediately and free than live a hundred lives unmeshed in decay.

This EP is completed by remixes from Alke Mist and Nacim Gastli.
Alke Mist on the first one, gives the original a darker, and more dynamic touch. Blending Techno and Deep House aesthetics to create a cutting edge alternative. On the other hand, Nacim Gastli is providing a hypnotic and chilled down remix, with a progressive build up and an oriental feel.
