Christian Hinz grew up in a home with classical music and has been playing the piano for many years. He found interest in sound & music from an early age and quickly fell in love with jazz, disco, breakbeat and industrial.

In 1988, his big brother invited him to visit the local youthclub although he was not old enough. At the club they had a disco with a dj booth, dancefloor & light effects. He thought it was very cool and asked if he might be allowed to play .. and they said yes

He was allowed into the club and began playing frequently after 3 months. He borrowed turntables & mixer and used all the money he had from time to time in the record shops. He then practiced on his decks at home during daytime after school and played in the weekend at the club.

In 1990, he participated, for the first time, in a local dj competition. He won the competition and went on to the regional championships, where he got a 2nd place finish out of 50. During the period 1991-1993, he won both the local, regional and in 1994 the national championship and already in the early 90' he knew that electronic music was the right way for him to go.

By winning championships in the early years, he has through the last 23 years been playing a lot of gigs and arranged many electronic events. He also had weekly broadcasts with electronic music and interviews at regional radio stations in the 90'

For many years he only played progressive and psytrance. Today, he plays many differnt styles of electronic music and at Midsommer Tækno, he will deliver uplifting groovy minimalistic techno as the last artist playing.
