1) Tell us about yourself
I moved to Edinburgh from Australia in August 2016 to study at Napier and have managed to evade border control and immigration ever since. I started DJing a year ago and am currently a resident for NUTS (Napier Uni Techno Society) - we put on a range of gigs around Edinburgh, while also being on support duties for some of the biggest club nights in the capital.

2) How did you get into music and DJing?
I've always had a keen love of music which I think I got from my dad - he had his own mobile disco business when he was 23 in New Zealand and growing up his record collection soundtracked the gaff 24/7. It was once I moved to Edinburgh that my interest in house and techno was properly piqued - fittingly, the first pivotal experience I can point to is going to Hectors in December 2016, and I've been hooked ever since. I started to learn to mix on some basic Pioneer 2-channel decks in early 2017, which was kind of just the natural progression from me commandeering the Spotify at pre's, as well as having a few pals who were already DJ's.

3) Who/what are your favourite DJs/producers/labels?
I think I have a pretty broad taste in music spanning across house and techno but if I had to name a few of my favourite DJs I would say Hunee, Honey Dijon, Dan Shake and Artwork are probably some of my favourite selectors. I've also seen Helena Hauff a few times and they've been some of my favourite gigs in that vein of heavier DJs. Production wise I really rate Big Miz, Kettama and anything from the Steel City Dance Discs crew.

4) Tell us about your mix...
I recorded this mix in the gaff recently - its full of some of the tunes I've been enjoying playing out recently, plus a couple of old favourites - it's fairly energetic, whack it on before a night out or at a flat party and hopefully it gets a few heads bopping.

5) What are your future plans?
Having had a couple of club gigs recently I've been absolutely loving it and am looking to play out as much as I can & build up experience with different clubs/crowds, but I'd also like to start recording and showcasing a few more mixes, while production also really interests me and is something that is on the radar for the future.

1)Tell us about yourself….. 
I'm an Edinburgh based DJ holding down residencies at Cabaret Voltaire (Underground Society) and 99 Hanover Street. I'm also the Sales and Events Manger for Cab Vol and have been for the past 3 years!!

2) How did you get into music and DJing?
From a young age - High School Era - I was interested in Electronic music, in those days favouring EDM artists (We all start somewhere). I started to get into the Underground Music scene after my very first time going to Cab Vol which was, funnily enough, at Hectors. Pretty sure it was (Simon) Bays who was playing, I instantly fell in love with the music.

My parents weren't really the musical types. I found my own path musically, starting in primary school where I played Violin then ended up playing for the Edinburgh Orchestra but that's about it.

I've been dabbling with DJing here and there for a few years now but really started going for it about a year ago now and here we are!

3) Who/what are your favourite DJs/producers/labels?
It's hard to choose who your favourite DJ/Producers are when your taste in music is so varied. I enjoy playing and listening to everything from Deep/Minimal House, hard hitting Techno, acid and afro through old school disco/soul/funk, breakbeat, dnb and the like.

If I was to pick my favourite style of music, anything under the bracket 'melodic' would be the one.

Having said that, my favourite label is All Day I Dream, all their releases are incredible tracks. I usually find myself getting seriously lost in them (In a good way).

4) Tell us about your mix…..
Recorded in the spiritual home on CDJs.

I wanted to go a different direction with this mix and challenge myself. I kept the bpm of the mix the same the whole way through and used the music itself to set the pace.

My usual style would have been a bit darker than this so again challenged myself with something a bit different.

5)What are your future plans?
Got some very ambitious but big plans for the future. Hosch & Ekka and I have been working on a project for the past 9 months which we will be sharing very soon, definitely something to keep your eye on but that's all I can say for now...

6. Anything else you want to mention…..
If it wasn't for you beautiful bastards at Hectors, I wouldn't be doing what I am today.

1) Tell us about yourself [Andrew Burns and Ben Connelly aka Hosch & Ekka]….. 
Our first introduction to DJing was at a house party where we were both playing around on some decks, courtesy of our good friend Mr Patrick Do Rego, who was the self proclaimed DJ and lighting professional for what seemed to be every party that was thrown by our friends at school. Shortly after that we decided to team up as a duo and got hooked on producing our own music very quickly. Whilst still in school we played some under 18’s nights in cab vol and studio 24 which kept us motivated. Skipping class became a regular occurrence after discovering the school’s music studio - the teachers always knew where to find us…

2) How did you get into music and DJing?
We learned to mix with some basic numark decks and a two channel mixer. Without any USB input we were left burning CD’s on the way to gigs, quite often in the passenger seat of the car, (we’re glad to say we’re more organised now!) Our first ever record purchase was Kayra - Let me love you. We first heard this song in an 80’s inspired film and it took us deeper into the stems of house and rave culture.

3) Who/what are your favourite DJs/producers/labels?
One of our first and pivotal experiences of dance music was during a trip to London at the age of 18 where we entered the world famous Fabric. Awaiting us was a 7 hour set with Laurent Garnier & Craig Richards on warm up. Their passion and skill for DJing along with their incredible record collection inspired us massively and made the night one that we will never forget. It was 8AM and Garnier wasn’t showing any signs of leaving the booth, even after exceeding the official close of the club. We danced for another hour and surrendered at 9AM to catch our (very rough) flight back to Edinburgh! That night in Fabric most definitely changed our appreciation for music and how we wanted to play our own sets.

4) Tell us about your mix…..
We thoroughly enjoyed putting this mix together that we feel questions today’s judgement of what house and techno is defined by. We have included a range of deeper sounds along with some more driving tracks. It was Recorded in our home studio on two XDJ 1000’s (which thankfully have USB ports)

5)What are your future plans?
We are currently spending a lot of time in the studio to complete our debut EP and have explored many different genres and ways of making music over the last few years. We are also adding live elements to our sets and plan to make this a big part of our future.

Originally based in Brighton I have been DJing in Aberdeen since moving there for uni about five years ago. In that time I have held residencies with Let It Bleed and Local Time. I have also begun producing my own music and have had releases on Polyptych and Superordinate Music with much more to come in the new year! I also run a music sharing page on Facebook called One Two Five which has now amassed over 3000 members and consists predominantly of members from Bristol, London, Glasgow and Aberdeen. We also run a spin off producer group for the page in order to help up and coming producers and DJ's get feedback on their material.

Music has been something I've always had a keen interest in, as i have grown older and discovered more of it, its gradually turned into obsession. I feel with electronic music being the main type of music i have been listening to, being able to combine your favourite tracks together through DJing just seemed to be the natural progression from listening to it for me, so i was hooked pretty early on. But it wasn't til i moved up to Aberdeen for Uni five years ago that i actually started playing out and eventually got my residency with Let It Bleed and have had the chance to warm up for some of my favourite artists had some really cool opportunities have stemmed from that since!

3) Who/what are your favourite DJs/producers/labels?
I have taken real inspiration the last couple years from the Fuse London crew, with Enzo Siragusa and Rossko being standout favourites for me, also Ben Rau and his labels Meta and Inkal. I like combining some of the styles promoted by these artists with some more melodic, deep styles in my sets.

4) Tell us about your mix…..
The mix starts out with a more minimal, stripped back style of house which i have been following religiously recently and progresses into some more energetic beats as it goes on, whilst still maintaining that similar stripped back vibe focusing on the core groove of the songs. I love changing up mixes with some beats that don't stick to a 4/4 pattern so to wrap this one up i finished with a couple garage tracks

5)What are your future plans?
I'll be continuing my residencies with Local Time and Let It Bleed this year, I will have quite a bit on during February and March which will be announced soon. I've also been invited to play with good friends and Aberdeen party starters Nothing More To Say also in Feb. However its likely my last year in Scotland and so ill be looking to find some gigs to play back home in Brighton once I have moved back, i have been contact with the guys who run Minimo in Worthing, they seem to be running some really cool events, so I am excited to get involved with that.

My favourite DJs/ producers would have be Gerd Janson, Hunee and Palms Trax. All DJs who can easily adapt to the environment they’re playing; rather than sticking to particular style or genre. A DJ/ producer who epitomises this for me is Four Tet. I was fortunate enough to witness his Lost Village set this year and it truly blew my mind to what was possible. Labels for me would have to be DABJ, Studio Barnhus and Soma Records.

Started things off fairly slow then just went with it. Looked to play some songs that I’ve recently found and loved, as well as some from my older collection.  

4)What are your future plans?
I would love to get more into the DJ scene and play clubs/venues rather than the occasional flat party/ afters. I’ve got a couple of potential things coming up but nothing set in stone as of yet. Producing is something I’d also love to get into and understand, however at the moment my focus is more on finishing my degree.

1)Tell us about yourself [Coll Reekie, Euan Redpath, and Lewis Ross aka handmade]….. 
Originally based in a small village called East Linton, we have been working on this little project for some time before going live with it in the capital. The three of us all have varying tastes which we quickly identified all merge together pretty nicely so thought we’d make something of it. Through the years we’ve worked on gathering a collection that we love ourselves and now wish to share with you all. We have picked up a lot of inspiration over the past couple years from festivals and nights across Europe and we’re keen to keep the ball rolling with this project and make some more people smile. 

2) How did you get into music and DJing?
We feel we have our parents to thank a lot for this. For Lewis, his mum’s love of 80’s Disco was his initial influence, with the likes of Gonzalez and Three Degrees springing to mind. This then led to more digging for other fragments of disco/house and sharing this with others which encouraged the idea of DJing a few years ago. Coll gained inspiration from his old man, hearing a wide variety of sounds growing up, but over the past few years has found his love in electronic music.

3) Who/what are your favourite DJs/producers/labels?
To name a few, Simple Symmetry, Orpheu the Wizard and Job Jobse would top the list at the moment. Labels such as Disco Halal, Bordello A Parigi and Rush Hour are three in particular we keep finding ourselves coming back to, but are always open to new finds along the way.

4) Tell us about your mix…..
Similar to our first released mix (see handmade mixcloud page), this was completely off the bat but with intentions of taking you down different routes of our collection which we hope you enjoy. 

5)What are your future plans?
Following the feedback we’ve received from the last couple of nights we played, we feel very encouraged, and hope to keep playing around Edinburgh and more. Have to thank Hectors for their support in these early stages and look forward to playing their Boxing Day Shindig.

Always been into music, learned to play guitar at the start of high school so used to be into bands etc but as I got a little bit older discovered dance music and naturally got my hands on my first set of decks at about 13/14 and pretty much been into it ever since. At those ages it was pretty standard commercial stuff that I was into but as i’ve grown up i’ve started to dive deeper into finding quality house, disco and techno tunes.

3) Who/what are your favourite DJs/producers/labels?
Current favourite DJ’s and producers include Adryiano, Kettama, Adamant, Illyus & Barrientos, Gerd Janson, Mall Grab, Mella Dee, Tom Trago and Denis Sulta to name a few. In terms of labels I tend not to stick to one but a couple I find reliably releasing top stuff include Soma, Running Back, Glasgow Underground, Numbers, Defected, Toolroom and my absolute favourite is Spinnin’ Recor... nah i’m just joking…

4) Tell us about your mix…..
This mix is just a collection of some stuff i’ve dug up recently as well as a few more known tracks that never fail me when playing. Tried to cover a couple genre’s and moods in the hour whilst keeping a semi steady flow. Recorded in my front room where i’ve always got decks set up for practising or playing with pals.

5)What are your future plans?
Future plans are to finish up at uni and take it from there. Played at Hectors a couple times recently so hopefully build on that and get a few more nights under the belt. May eventually put the business degree to good use and set up my own party with friends but thats something for the future, currently working on the DJ’ing side of things.

Jon Krieger (HYBRiD)

1. Tell us about yourself….. 
Hello, my name's Jack [Miller] and I am a resident and co-founder of both HYBRiD and Edinburgh Disco Lovers. Originally living in Inverness, I moved down to Edinburgh where I've been settled for the last 8 years. HYBRiD aims to put on a number of great parties in some of Edinburgh's coolest locations, whereas Edinburgh Disco Lovers is a charity night which purely focuses on disco and helps to raise money for a number of anti-racist, LGBT and homelessness charities. I also have an alias called Jon Krieger, which this mix will focus on!

2. How did you get into music and DJing?
I've always loved music and I'm sure anyone who DJs, or plays an instrument for that matter, has to love music, or else what are you really in it for? I started mixing around 4 years ago with Stephen Roberton (Lobos) when we first started Uni, essentially for flat parties and afterparties. We also discovered the Cowgate when we roamed away from your usual fresher nights on George Street, where my interest in underground music really grew (especially techno). I remember one of my first nights was Clouds at Mash House and, lets just say, it was a tad on the heavy side... but if you know me, that's what I love the most!


3. Who/what are your favourite DJs/producers/labels?
I enjoy all genres of music. If it has a good beat and a lot of energy, I'll probably like it! However, my preferences in music lies in the darker and heavier areas of techno, electro and breakbeat. To name a few labels/artists I'm really enjoying at the moment: Dax J's Monnom Black label, Remco Beekwilder (particularly his recent productions on his label EMERALD) and Anetha (check her recent boiler room, it's a cracker).
 
4. Tell us about your mix…..
To sum it up, it's hard and pacey... it may feel like a bit of kick to the head sometimes but I've thrown a range of different tracks in there so hopefully it'll get you fist pumping. I recorded this mix in my bedroom with my RX's.... that does not sound nearly as cool as recording in a studio but ah well. 


5. What are your future plans?
Currently my main focus is on Jon Krieger and HYBRiD while working on the side at the moment. I'm also working toward a wee project in the pipeline that myself, Lobos and head honcho of Edinburgh Disco Lovers, Fraser Gillan, are planning. However next year, I plan on going away travelling in Asia for a wee deserved break but hoping to continue producing and being involved in music over there.

Just a thanks to Hector's House for allowing me to produce a mix for you guys, I had a lot of fun recording this one, hope you all enjoy.

1. Tell us about yourself [Aaron Russell]….. 
First of all thanks for having me on the series! I'm a DJ/Producer and I go by the alias Yungruzt (pronounced 'Young Rust'). I currently have a residency with Let it Bleed up in Aberdeen and play the occasional stint at Rare Thursday which my friend Rory runs. I've warmed up for the likes of Kink, Kolsch, Fatima Yamaha & Paul Woolford to name a few.

2. How did you get into music and DJing? 
I was surrounded by such a wide variety of good music from a really young age. Mum would be blasting Prince, George Michael, Madonna, Various other 80's gold, the old 90's Trance and 00's House records you still hear getting banged out to this day. On the other hand, Dad would be listening to Timo Maas, Deep Dish, Sven Vath, Tenaglia, Sasha & Digweed and the likes of Stranglers, Clash and other Punk. So I'm extremely grateful to them in that aspect of being exposed to all kinds of music. I learnt how to play guitar aged 13 and didn't put it down til I was 16, only reason being cause I discovered Trance, UK Hardcore and necking bottles of White Lightning under the bridge, (Scottish Youth), after that I ended up wanting to DJ and haven't looked back since. I got into production as well a year and a half ago and have had my first few releases this year.

3. Who/what are your favourite DJs/producers/labels?  
Heavy into Bicep, Love what they've been doing from the start, their stuff is timeless and will be here forever. Big fan of the Romanian Minimal Scene at the moment, long, loopy, dubby, rolling, hypnotic, sexy tracks you can get lost in. Also gotta mention the likes of Dixon, Keinemusik, Ame, and Mano Le Tough who have a big influence on me. I try to keep a balance of all that kinda vibes in my sets. I like to make people move, shake and feel good but also have a wee emotional trip along the way.

4.Tell us about your mix…..    
Pretty simple, kept a floaty vibe on this one, taking a darker trip towards the end. Perfect for the early after-hours. Old tracks, New tracks, Tracks you'll know and tracks you need to know.

5. What are your future plans? 
Got some cool gigs coming up in Aberdeen, Playing SWG3 in Glasgow in November and hoping to get a wee taste of the Capital's crowd soon. I've also got a new track coming out in December on Just Her's Label 'Constant Circles' which I'm buzzing about. Finally I'm also kicking off a series of parties up in Aberdeen at the end of the month with my good friend Rondevu, (check him out). The events are called Truzt Rondevu With_, we want to book artists people need to know and want the punters to really trust us with the bookings. Our first guest is Edinburgh's very own Kieran Apter and that launches Friday 26th October.

1) Tell us about yourself…..
Birth Name is Craig Strachan. DJ Name Sesentayuno, meaning 61 in Spanish. A name I was given while playing at a largely Spanish flat party due to the number on my T-shirt (which was actually 67 but nobody really knows. The extent of the party made me think it was 61 for some reason…). Work as a breakfast waiter in a hotel, which is ideal as I get to spend the rest of the day working on my music.

2) How did you get into music and DJing?
I first started DJing 4 years, with my first ever experience on a set of decks being in the Liquid Rooms on a Wednesday. I use to PR for the night and got taught by the DJ playing that night; Craig Wilson, who I was good friends with at the time. I managed to blag my way into playing a set with Bruno, the DJ the following Wednesday. Had no idea about USBs or any software at the time so I burnt 4 CDs and he let me do the warm up set. Quite lucky really!

3) Who/what are your favourite DJs/producers/labels?
My favourite DJ of all time is Marco Carola. He runs Music On at Amnesia in Ibiza and in locations over the world. He’s an incredible DJ and been a huge influence on my style. Favourite producers right now are Vincenzo D’amico & Mirco Caruso. I was lucky enough to play B2B with Vincenzo when we brought him over for the Groovers 1st birthday & I’m hoping to release on Mirco’s label - 2Drop by the end of this year.

4) Tell us about your mix…..
Straight up grooves, was recorded about 4 hours into playing on audacity at an afterparty using XDJ1000s & a DJM900 Nexus mixer. My style is very percussive, with predominantly Italian producers featuring on it. There are a fair amount of unreleased promos featured on it too.

5) What are your future plans?
Do as much production and release on as many labels as possible really over the winter period. I’ve taken a break from promoting Groovers, I’ve got my 2 best mates Oscar and Dils running the shows for the foreseeable future. I’m still going to be playing at the nights as a resident but focussing all my energy on making music. Going to work as hard as I can to release as much music as possible and hopefully break through as an artist over the coming years. Spending the season in Ibiza next summer.

I’ve recently graduated from Strathclyde and currently in that unemployed limbo phase, it’s pretty decent tbh. I’m one third of A//P, we have a quarterly residency at Hector’s and throw bi-monthly parties at La Cheetah in Glasgow.

2) How did you get into music and DJing?
My sister was the biggest influence, she’s 4 years older and also went to Strathclyde, she really taught me the ways of good tunes. DJing i’ve just kind of always fancied to be honest but never did anything about it until like 2nd year Uni and it all took off pretty quickly - had my first gig at Flat 0/1!

3) Who/what are your favourite DJs/producers/labels?
Subculture has easily the biggest influence on me, I used to go every week last summer and the next day would just be digging for anything similar to what Harri & Dom play. Arguably my favourite DJ is Telford. I’ve always loved the classic house side of things, Strictly Rhythm has always been one of my favourite labels.

I wanted to record something a bit chiller than usual, I for some reason don’t like recording thumping high energy tracks, prefer saving that for clubs! I recorded it during my Friday night residency in Korean restaurant/bar Bibimbap.

5) What are your future plans?

From the Scottish Borders but moved to Glasgow in 2015 for uni. I'm the Resident for the Glasgow based night Steamed Jams which I set up with my pal Marissa.

2) How did you get into music and DJing?
I used to play instruments when I was younger including drums which I feel had quite a big influence in my attraction to dance music. Got into dance music properly when I was about 17 then I went to the Reading Rooms in Dundee with my brother when I turned 18. My brother and his flatmate had this hefty metal Numark Omni Controller and it was the first time i'd ever even considered DJ'ing myself. As it turned out I would end up buying the exact same controller for my first piece of kit after I had moved to Glasgow.

3) Who/what are your favourite DJs/producers/labels? 
I have quite broad taste and I'm constantly trying to discover genres I may have previously neglected but there are a few labels I think just do no wrong. Dixon Avenue Basement Jams of course, Hessle Audio, Toytonics, Shall Not Fade and more recently i've been loving the Unit Two Records new release.

4) Tell us about your mix….. 
I recorded it in my flat and didn't really plan it out. Just basically tracks that I wouldn't feel I could play out often but I'd love to in the right setting.

5) What are your future plans?
Just continuing to put on Steamed Jams parties. We are doing a collab with Cooked on the 25th October at Broadcast which i'm stupid excited for as last time we played at Sneakys together it went off! Got a few more dates confirmed for afterwards so it's really exciting to see how they all go.

1) Tell us about yourself [Antony Small and Scott Mackenzie aka Speaker Bump]…..
AS: We are both Edinburgh born and bred and both have mon-fri type gigs, albeit in completely different industries. I’ve recently welcomed my first child into the world so this has somewhat occupied me of late. Outside of fatherhood I love my football, music and food.

2) How did you get into music and DJing?
AS: My love of music developed at school, albeit in a teenage angst way where the Seattle sounds of grunge and healthy dose of Guns n roses where the order of the day. I still vividly remember being blowing away by my first significant music experiences, Oasis @ Ingleston (1996) ,Daft Punk in the dance tent @ TITP (1997) & my first foray into ‘proper’ house club with to catch a certain Mr G Sommerville @ the seminal ‘Yip Yap’ night, some-time in mid/late nineties. My old man has one of the best collections of rare/northern soul in the country (so I’m told!) so my destiny was pre-ordained  growing up in a house full of vinyl. The DJ’ing thing was a natural progression from being really into house music, with the help of a student loan I got my 1210’s and it’s been a hobby ever since, believe it  not back then people got into music before djing rather than the other way about like these days!

3) Who/what are your favourite DJs/producers/labels?
We have certainly become more diverse as if I’ve gotten older. In the 90’s & early noughties it was very much US led ‘Garage’ deep/soulful house sound, these days I find a lot of ‘soulful house’ very dull. I listen to a lot of house/soul/Disco/Reggae/Hip-hop and Afro influences sounds – we try and reflect this diversity in the Speaker Bump parties though the demands of a dancefloor often leads to house/disco.
 
As far as DJ’s/producers go – Off the top of my head I’m a big fan of Glenn Underground/Kai Alce/Sadar Bahaar/Rahaan/Mr Scruff/Red Greg. I will always check out the classic US DJ’s also (MAW/Kerri Chandler/Ron Trent etc also )

We would normally play out a lot more eclectic than this, but felt the rough 60 minute remit lent itself more to sticking with one sound. The house we play tends to be in the  ]]> [THM034]

I really got into the DJ scene after I saw Denis Sulta b2b Big Miz at the liquid rooms last Halloween, shortly after that I attended a lot of Eyeangle gigs that kept me keen, Hectors was also a big part as it introduced me to a style of bangers and a vibe I had never really experienced, to this day two Tuesdays are never the same at hectors it’s mad to me.

3) Who/what are your favourite DJs/producers/labels?
My favourite producers are without a doubt Denis Sulta and Big Miz I don’t think between them they’ve got a bad tune. My favourite DJ’s have to be Virgil Abloh, Jackmaster, Miz, Sulta and Mall grab.

4) Tell us about your mix…..
This mix took me ages and ages and ages I changed my mind about 100 times, I tried to make it shorter than your usual mix because for me personally I can hardly sit though a 40min + Mix and as for tracks, I tried to play tunes that would fit a room 1 Cab Vol vibe.

5) What are your future plans?
Future plans are to try and secure some gigs around the capital and maybe locally to, I also want to learn to produce tracks and as for the more distant future I hope to be rich and famous and move to Sweden to spend the rest of my days.

1) Tell us about yourself…..
Hi all my name is Rory Millington, i am 19 years old studying Popular music at Edinburgh College and also the new Events Manager for the team here at Hectors!

2) How did you get into music and DJing?
It all started on my parents pots and pans although since then i have primarily been a kit drummer playing all sorts of music ranging from Jazz Fusion to Pop Music but my real drumming passion lies in the Jazz realm. My passion for electronic music was found In the early years of high school listing to mostly commercial House and Dubstep which quickly progressed into a more underground and raw sound (thank god) although my passion for DJing began at the start of this year when i was able to get my hand on a pair of Technics.

3) Who/what are your favourite DJs/producers/labels?
In terms of labels Edinburgh’s local Firecracker Recordings and their sub label Unthank are definitely up there along with Ostgut Ton, Multiplex, Deep Sea Frequency, Holding Hands, S.O.N.S and Amphia. As for producers Mike Dunn, Traumprinz, Anthony Naples, c.k, Linkwood, Ramzi and Titonton Duvanté are a few of many and in terms of DJs i really dig Motor City Drum Ensemble, Ben UFO and OR:LA

4) Tell us about your mix…..
The mix was recorded down in Cab Vol (thanks guys) and with myself being a bit of a vinyl purist it's an all vinyl mix playing a bunch of my favorite records.The mix itself starts with mostly techno tracks which slowly progresses into a house fueled mix.

5) What are your future plans?
Looking to get out and about playing more parties over the next few months along with finishing up the material for my first ep although it’s still in early phases at the moment.

Hi all my name is Rory Millington, i am 19 years old studying Popular music at Edinburgh College and also the new Events Manager for the team here at Hectors!

2) How did you get into music and DJing?
It all started on my parents pots and pans although since then i have primarily been a kit drummer playing all sorts of music ranging from Jazz Fusion to Pop Music but my real drumming passion lies in the Jazz realm. My passion for electronic music was found In the early years of high school listing to mostly commercial House and Dubstep which quickly progressed into a more underground and raw sound (thank god) although my passion for DJing began at the start of this year when i was able to get my hand on a pair of Technics.

3) Who/what are your favourite DJs/producers/labels?
In terms of labels Edinburgh’s local Firecracker Recordings and their sub label Unthank are definitely up there along with Ostgut Ton, Multiplex, Deep Sea Frequency, Holding Hands, S.O.N.S and Amphia. As for producers Mike Dunn, Traumprinz, Anthony Naples, c.k, Linkwood, Ramzi and Titonton Duvanté are a few of many and in terms of DJs i really dig Motor City Drum Ensemble, Ben UFO and OR:LA

4) Tell us about your mix…..
The mix was recorded down in Cab Vol (thanks guys) and with myself being a bit of a vinyl purist it's an all vinyl mix playing a bunch of my favorite records.The mix itself starts with mostly techno tracks which slowly progresses into a house fueled mix.

5) What are your future plans?
Looking to get out and about playing more parties over the next few months along with finishing up the material for my first ep although it’s still in early phases at the moment.

1) Tell us about yourself [Duncan McBean]…..
Hello, I'm Ben Atkinson, studying at Heriot-Watt University in my 4th year. Coming all the way from Portsmouth so spend most of my time in Edinburgh during the term. Very much in to music both listening and playing, love finding or getting sent new quality tunes that have something different to what I'd normally listen to. Also having a go at producing my own stuff but still learning the ropes at the moment. DJ'd quite a lot over the last year at venues like Cab Vol, Sneaky Pete's, Liquid Rooms, hopefully will have plenty more sets this year with hwts as well as giving other members a chance to DJ in clubs through the society as well.

2) How did you get into music and DJing?
First got in to music quite early on, playing and studying music through school from the age of about 11. Was more in to hip-hop/rap through school and then I remember listening to Kaytranada's boiler room when it came out and was hooked. The music, the set-up, the people (some serious characters pop up through his set), was all alien to me at the time but loved everything about it. Through that I started watching other DJs sets and then started getting more in to electronic music/DJing. Not much of a house/techno scene in Pompey so it was only until I came to Edinburgh that I started going out to those sorts of nights (hector's, fly, odyssey).

3) Who/what are your favourite DJs/producers/labels?
Have huge admiration for a lot of DJ's/producers but first ones that come to mind are Paul Woolford, Robert Hood, Midland. The sort of people that have serious musical ability and know what makes a good tune and what doesn't. Tip top producers and selectors that go in a direction that they want to go with their releases/sets rather than what people would expect. It's not about playing what people want, it's about playing what people didn't know they wanted (big ups to whoever said that, can't remember where I heard it). In terms of labels, I find most of the music I play through YouTube so obvious choice for me would be Ilian Tape as they have some huge techno releases. Another more recent label choice would be Whities, some belter tracks from Avalon Emerson and Nathan Micay (Bwana).

4) Tell us about your mix…..
People hear me play techno enough through the society nights and my other mixes so wanted to try something a big different. Had a couple tracks in mind that I wanted to play so just went from there really. Starts off quite light then gets gradually faster and heavier with some dodgy beat matching in between. Only just back in Edinburgh so it felt good to get back on the decks in my flat and fire out this mix.


5) What are your future plans?
Hopefully get some more parties sorted down the line with hwts, we've got Elliot Adamson playing at Bourbon next week which I'm really looking forward to. Also have our first festival slot with Woodland Dance Project later in September which should be a cracker. Also hope to have a few more events with hectors in the future as we always love playing here and it's great to be invited back for the fresher’s week shindig.

1) Tell us about yourself [Duncan McBean]…..
Been a DJ for over 10 years now and have been producing for just over 3 years. I learned music production at Shoogle Studios (Soma Skool) in Glasgow and have steadily completed all courses available at weekends over the last 3 years. Biggest achievement would be hitting #1 Hardcore/Hard Techno releases on Beatport earlier this year, holding the top spot for 7 days. Also got to #17 at overall top 100 releases on Beatport which I don't think has even sunk in yet.

2) How did you get into music and DJing?
I had mates who used to play and have always had an interest in it. I found it amazing watching people playing Technics and blending records. I then had an opportunity to swap a Yamaha YZ125 with a friend for a set of belt drive Numark decks when I was 15. I have never looked back since. Was playing hard trance and sorts back then but after going to Rockness in 2011 I was introduced to techno from the likes of Pan-Pot and Gary Beck and my interest in the genre grew from there.

3) Who/what are your favourite DJs/producers/labels?
Favourite DJ's at the moment is hard to pin down but enjoying sets from Amelie Lens, Yan Cook, Pan-Pot and Lex Gorrie. Top labels for me would be Soma Records, Second State and Unknown Territory. I enjoy going to Hypnotic Groove nights, running my own night Flick and also local techno promoters Exklusive and Connect have some forthcoming coming events happening in Inverness.

4) Tell us about your mix…..
This mix is a selection of techno tracks I have been enjoying at the moment and some of the music I downloaded fresh to play for Exklusive supporting Ramiro Lopez, T78 & Drumsauw in Ironworks, Inverness on 28th July. It was recorded at home in my studio on CDJ 900’s and DJM800.


5) What are your future plans?
Future plans involved releasing my next debut EP on Gibbon Records later this year. I have a track available to pre-order now on Unknown Territory which I am excited to be part of as it was my target label for the year. I am taking things up a level at Flick with Lex Gorrie taking a trip up to Forres to headline the 1st birthday event.

6) Anything else you want to mention…..
I always want to learn more and increase my production skills. I had some excellent news last week and I will be attending Toolroom Academy in October for a 3 month online course to improve my productions which I am very excited about. To make it even better, Help Musicians UK are funding me to carry out this course which is amazing.

1) Tell us about yourself…..
Ryan: My name is Ryan Wilson. I moved up to Edinburgh last August from the Borders to study Music Business and open up some opportunities for myself.

Scott: Allright , I’m Scott [Davidson]. I’ve been into music since I was around 8, picking up the guitar first and then moving onto the turntables when I was in my later teens. Together we are known as RYOT.

2) How did you get into music and DJing?
Ryan: I have always been into music from a young age, getting dragged all over the country to different music festivals by my parents. My brother Justin has been promoting and DJing since the 90s known as No Strings Attached(NSA). I learnt a lot about the club scene and dance music from him. One of my first club experiences was Justin Robertson at the Fairy Dean in Galashiels 2014.

Scott: Music was always very important to me and finding good quality music that isn’t the most popular or in the Beatport top 100 is a passion. My first club event was Ivan Smagghe playing for NSA in 2016.

While at School together we joined our interests and made RYOT. We started making mixes and done a few gigs then both went different ways. This year we have both ended up in Edinburgh at the same college, we decided to start up RYOT again and do it properly this time having our launch party at the Mash House in April.

3) Who/what are your favourite DJs/producers/labels?
Ryan: I’m always enjoying labels such as Les Yeux Orange, Ransom note and XLR8R to name a few. Artists I’m enjoying at the moment are La Decedanse, Tuff City Kids, Black Spuma and Roman Flugel. I like the saying ‘Genres are for Journalists’. I enjoy all types of music and DJ with a variety of sounds. I enjoy a lot of music from the 80s and 90s but I also love to push new music forward.

Scott: My go to labels are UR , Rush hour and Live At Robert Johnson and the artists I love are Moodymann, Mad Mike, Drexciya and Tuff City Kids. Oh, also anything Ryan Cass makes is always class.

4) Tell us about your mix…..
Scott: This mix is mostly new music released this year. We both spend a lot of time on our mixes trying to plan it out however it always shapes into its own thing by the time we are finished. 


5) What are your future plans?
Ryan: After such a good launch party we are dying to put on another party in Edinburgh and will do soon. In the meantime, we are going to make some more mixes and host some smaller parties back home in Galashiels.

VIGILE (Carouse)

1) Tell us about yourself….. 
Helllooo, my name is Frankie [Ogilvie], I am 21 and I DJ under the alias ‘VIGILE’ and I run the club night Carouse alongside my good mate, Alistair. I spent a couple years after school doing recruitment but left so I could go to Uni and pursue this music thing

2) How did you get into music and DJing?
I’ve always been very into music. My passion for it started with rap and grime tunes (which I still love) and I didn’t really get invested in electronic music until I started going to clubs. I was a regular at Studio (RIP) back when it was open and the experiences there made me really want to get into DJ’ing. That venue was a class example of how the vibe and music in a place can bring strangers together.

3) Who/what are your favourite DJs/producers/labels?
One of my favourite DJ’s of all time is the mighty Dave Clarke, I used to be a mad techno head so seeing him play live blew me away. I love the style of DJ’ing from the likes of Mumdance and Nicholas Jaar and take a lot of inspiration from them. I’ve become a bit of a Soundcloud geek as of late and there is so many producers there that have been making class tunes with little exposure. In terms of labels, the big boys like Toy Tonics and Running Back always put out quality material but there is a lot of smaller ones that I’m digging too like Dansu Discs.

This is a House mix of consisting of new tunes that I have been listening to a lot lately. I think all of them bar a couple have came out in the last 6 months or so. It’s all pretty upbeat but it starts of pretty chill and gets progressively heavier.

5) What are your future plans?
At the moment I am just working on improving my productions and getting more experience DJ’ing along with promoting Carouse with Ali. Hopefully start getting some tracks signed near the end of the year and going into 2019 and we are going to be booking some DJ’s for Carouse so very exciting. 1) Tell us about yourself….. 
Helllooo, my name is Frankie [Ogilvie], I am 21 and I DJ under the alias ‘VIGILE’ and I run the club night Carouse alongside my good mate, Alistair. I spent a couple years after school doing recruitment but left so I could go to Uni and pursue this music thing

2) How did you get into music and DJing?
I’ve always been very into music. My passion for it started with rap and grime tunes (which I still love) and I didn’t really get invested in electronic music until I started going to clubs. I was a regular at Studio (RIP) back when it was open and the experiences there made me really want to get into DJ’ing. That venue was a class example of how the vibe and music in a place can bring strangers together.

3) Who/what are your favourite DJs/producers/labels?
One of my favourite DJ’s of all time is the mighty Dave Clarke, I used to be a mad techno head so seeing him play live blew me away. I love the style of DJ’ing from the likes of Mumdance and Nicholas Jaar and take a lot of inspiration from them. I’ve become a bit of a Soundcloud geek as of late and there is so many producers there that have been making class tunes with little exposure. In terms of labels, the big boys like Toy Tonics and Running Back always put out quality material but there is a lot of smaller ones that I’m digging too like Dansu Discs.

4) Tell us about your mix…..

Over the years my taste changed (still does) and that’s when I started DJing. The first club night i went to was Mall Grab & Route 8 at Subby in 2017 when I was 17 - will never forget that buzz when I didn’t get asked for ID, especially when it was to see those dons!

3) Who/what are your favourite DJs/producers/labels?
I like staying quite diverse with what I listen to but Mall Grab is definitely up there, he’s been a massive inspiration for me, along with the likes of Project Pablo, Chaos in the CBD and main man Denis Sulta. KETTAMA is another that i have to mention just as he is killing it right now. As far as labels go I love anything DJ Haus is involved with (UTTU, Hot Haus Recs, House Crime etc) that man knows a banger. I’m also a massive fan of Steel City Dance Discs, DABJ (of course) and more recently ‘Dansu Discs’ who are definitely on quite a lot of peoples radar after some quality releases.

4) Tell us about your mix…..
No particular direction in this one, just a few tunes i’m loving at the moment spread across a couple different genres. Recorded in the confines of my bedroom - fresh after a little holiday i had in Italy!

5) What are your future plans?
Future plans are to keep on at the producing and DJing, hopefully looking to get an EP together but it’s an absolute struggle for me even to finish one full track so we’ll see how that goes. 

6) Anything else you want to mention…..
My debut release ‘Broken Heart’ on Eyeangle Records’ sub-label Roux Records is releasing on the 27th of July so can’t wait for that! Outs to Chris Roux, Liam Doc & the rest of the Eyeangle Crew :)

My name is Lewis Williamson - I am 19 years old and am currently studying at Glasgow Uni going into my second year come September - my main interests / hobbies are producing and DJing.

2) How did you get into music and DJing?
I've been interested in electronic music since I was around the age of 11 or 12, and I got into producing this way through watching producers I liked live stream their studio time online. When I was about 16 me and a couple of pals went to a Boiler Room at Bongo Club and that night heavily influenced a shift in direction towards a more 'techno' sound in both my production & DJing - and now the genre in itself is a really big passion of mine.

3) Who/what are your favourite DJs/producers/labels?
In terms of labels, Trip will always be a favorite of mine, due to the quality of all of the compilations as well as the individual releases - Kraviz has taken it in a really nice yet obscure direction which gives off some kind of  "Neo-Aphex Twin" vibe. Allergy season is also a hot one in the books as of recently, and I've gained quite a lot of inspiration from the massive charity compilations that they've released over the space of 2017-18. I'm also a huge fan of the UK techno scene at the moment - in particular Objekt, Call Super and of course the Hessle Audio trio.

4) Tell us about your mix…..
I wanted to to start off fairly percussive & melodic and get gradually heavier throughout - It was recorded in my room pretty much the moment after I got in from a five hour flight back from Greece so I was pretty knackered, albeit very motivated as I hadn't been able to touch my decks since two week prior.

5) What are your future plans?
Keep producing more and more - It's literally my favorite thing to do. I'm also interested in playing some more parties, and there also may or may not be something coming in the later months of this year, but absolutely nothing is confirmed yet so I won't say anymore on that.

1) Tell us about yourself…..
My name's Cammy Gallagher; I’ll be joining Glasgow University after the summer to study Philosophy; and I pretty much spend all my time on my laptop either listening to, or making music (under the name Kamus).

2) How did you get into music and DJing?
My first musical experience was piano lessons around the age of 10, but I didn’t enjoy the grading system, so I’ve just been improvising, and playing by ear since. My passion for music turned electronic, once I discovered Ableton, when I was about 15. I quickly became obsessed with the trial software - which eventually ran out, so I sold my Xbox, bought the real thing, and have never looked back since. However, it’s only over the last year that I’ve got my head down with the technicalities surrounding my production, as opposed to just messing around. Regarding Djing, I decided to get a pair of decks as a way to interact with the music I enjoy, instead of just collecting and listening to it. I would love to have a cool backstory that my mum and dad used to b2b the slam tent, but the reality is they are usually just telling me to turn the speakers down, so I do not know where my passion spawned from.

3) Who/what are your favourite DJs/producers/labels?
This can change daily with all the quality new music thats coming out. But, currently: I’m right into Felipe Gordon (highly recommend to check him out !); rate a good bit of Big Miz, and can always rely on Liam Doc for a banger. Label wise, Dixon Avenue Basement Jams are always putting out top stuff, so I’ve got a lot of respect for them as well. On the topic of Dj’s, Mall Grab always seems full of energy, making him very exciting to watch. And, Jackmaster, just seems like a sound guy.

4) Tell us about your mix…..
The mix has a variety of soundscapes within it, and I would say it represents my tastes fairly accurately. I like to keep my hands busy when I'm Djing, so I did as much as my 2 channel DJM-450 would allow me. I wanted to keep it moving in new directions, and stay exciting. I myself, love soulful vocals, cowbells, and acid lines - so I guess its just a little bit of me : )

5) What are your future plans?
I’ve got a few releases coming out on both Eyeangle Records, and its sub label - Roux Records, which I’m really excited to be a part of. In the future, I will most likely continue the never ending search for the perfect sample on youtube, but I've also got ideas for more synth based stuff. Just the other day actually, I ordered a Roland TB-03 (which will be my very first peice of hardware) so I'm pretty buzzing to pick that up, and get messing around with it. The eventual dream is of course a studio where I can just create, so the journey has begun to a kingdom of wires.

Just keep your eyes peeled for whats going on with Eyeangle and Roux Records really. Liam and Chris have mad release schedules, and events, lined up, so I think the future is definitely promising ! Also cheers for listening to the mix : )

1) Tell us about yourself….. 
I'm currently living in Edinburgh, just finished studying audio visual technology at Edinburgh college. I moved down from Orkney where I went to secondary school and lived for most my teenage life. I enjoy cycling and playing volleyball, a mad afters every now and then.

2) How did you get into music and DJing?
The first record I bought was a white label of Drugs, rock and roll by Retox, didn't know what it was at the time and it was just kind of an impulse buy. first performance I went to was T in the park 2k15 where the slam tent was my home. The first club night I went to was a Denis Sulta gig just as he became resident at cab vol and I figured I wanted to do that. My parents are very eclectic in their taste from thrash metal to country and everything in between. 

3) Who/what are your favourite DJs/producers/labels?
Recently I've really been getting into DJ koze's new album ‘knock knock’ I also listen to quite a bit of bonobo, George Fitzgerald, Jacques Greene, Theo Kotti. Along the lines of techno I rate Robert hood, Randomer, Mak and pasteman and pan pot to name a few. I like most electronic genres and go through phases of what I listen to. There's always good parties going on in Ed so doesn’t matter what you're feeling, you can find a night to suit. I would say some of my favourites are Hectors of course ;) Overground, Headset, Lionoil or most things at Sneakys really. 

4) Tell us about your mix…..
Been listening to a lot of techno recently cos I found it helped me focus when I was studying and I woke up the other morning and wanted to do a wee mix in the sun of tunes I've not played in a while. 

5) What are your future plans?
Music wise me and my pal Frankie have just started putting on a night called Carouse, the next one being tonight upstairs of the mash house (www.facebook.com/events/2027240017538050). Life in general I'm not sure haha working for now but may go back to Uni next year.

The first club night I went to was a Denis Sulta gig just as he became resident at cab vol and I figured I wanted to do that. My parents are very eclectic in their taste from thrash metal to country and everything in between. 

3) Who/what are your favourite DJs/producers/labels?
Recently I've really been getting into DJ koze's new album ‘knock knock’ I also listen to quite a bit of bonobo, George Fitzgerald, Jacques Greene, Theo Kotti. Along the lines of techno I rate Robert hood, Randomer, Mak and pasteman and pan pot to name a few. I like most electronic genres and go through phases of what I listen to. There's always good parties going on in Ed so doesn’t matter what you're feeling, you can find a night to suit. I would say some of my favourites are Hectors of course ;) Overground, Headset, Lionoil or most things at Sneakys really. 

4) Tell us about your mix…..
Been listening to a lot of techno recently cos I found it helped me focus when I was studying and I woke up the other morning and wanted to do a wee mix in the sun of tunes I've not played in a while. 

5) What are your future plans?
Music wise me and my pal Frankie have just started putting on a night called Carouse, the next one being tonight upstairs of the mash house (www.facebook.com/events/2027240017538050). Life in general I'm not sure haha working for now but may go back to Uni next year.

1) Tell us about yourself….. 
I’m [Joe Newman] 20 years old from Edinburgh. Just finished my 3rd year at Napier and I’m part of the dj collective Cooked.

2) How did you get into music and DJing?
Ive always been in to many different genres since I was young. All I can remember is my dad showing me music like Gorillaz, Madness, Daft Punk and The Specials so my music taste has always been quite broad. 
Started getting into more electronic music as I left school, I remember seeing Jamie xx at T in the park and he basically broadened my horizons to listen to more dance music. 
I started to dj after a few mates I met at uni took over NUTS (Napier uni techno society) and ran a few nights. That and basically being a season ticket holder at Hectors inspired me and my flatmate Chico to buy a controller and start playing ourselves. 
We did some warm up gigs through NUTS and then eventually made our way up to closing nights. After getting the buzz of doing a closing set we wanted more so decided to branch out and start a night ourselves called Cooked, with our good mate Temps. We even managed to hit capacity at Sneaky's on our opening night. 

3) Who/what are your favourite DJs/producers/labels?
Right now I’d probably say my favourite Djs/producers are Big Miz and Kettama. Also a big fan of Mall Grab and all the tunes Steel City Dance Discs have been releasing recently. 

4) Tell us about your mix…..
I recorded this mix in Pirate Studios as my controller is currently broken cause I spilt drink on it :( 
I wanted to fill this mix with songs that I’m liking at the moment, throwing some summery house tunes in there. I finished it on an absolute stomper I seen Mano Le Tough play at AVA that absolutely changed my life. 

5) What are your future plans?
I’m just wanting to get out there and play as many parties as possible to be honest. Looking forward to planning more nights with Cooked and seeing how far we can take the brand. I’m also more than chuffed to be playing at Hectors, it’s gonna be mad after spending so many nights on the other side of the decks.

Stuck Fereo (Eyeangle Records)

1) Tell us about yourself….. 
I’m [Stuart Cairns] a telecoms engineer, live in Bathgate with the Mrs and our one-year-old baby boy, Hamish! Love my football, cars, burgers, and Southern Comfort.

2) How did you get into music and DJing?
Was a big rock fan when I was younger, then around 1994 I got into dance music, particularly house and happy hardcore, which my bigger cousin introduced me to. I also learned to play the violin when still quite young. By 1998 I was trance daft, and wanted to take up DJing, which I did using my Acoustic Solutions Homemix system, which only allowed pitch shifts of 1% at a time! It was good to learn on crap equipment, as when I moved to vinyl and on to proper CDJs it was pure luxury. I started producing around this time too (Yamaha DJX and Dance eJay 2!!!), but put that aside until about four years ago, when I took it up again properly. I’ve gone through all genres of dance music, but only ever really produced house, and very much still learning. Biggest achievement to date is Danny Howard playing a track I wrote a couple of times on his BBC Radio 1 show. I also played at Cab Vol for Hectors a year or so ago, but it was my first night out since my wee son was born, and I’m beyond embarrassed to say I got a bit too drunk and royally arsed it up, and not really had the confidence to DJ out again since. Great experience, regardless.

3) Who/what are your favourite DJs/producers/labels?
Always been a huge Ferry Corsten fan, he single-handedly turned me from Happy Hardcore to Trance, which in turn gave me more of a chance to DJ. Eric Prydz has been a big inspiration due to his refusal to bow to his commercial success. Way too many influences to mention, but I have particular respect for artists who take the time to give you a wee Facebook like if you tag them in a mix which contains their music, or reply to a comment, message or track you’ve sent them - Dennis Quin, Danny Howard, Low Steppa, Dub Jamz, Dirty Secretz, to name a handful. In terms of labels, the dream is a release on Toolroom or Defected - I’ll settle for my one release so far, though, which was a remix for Liam Doc on the mighty Eyeangle Records!

4) Tell us about your mix…..
I originally put it together purely for my own enjoyment - happy, summery house music which brings back good memories. I actually put a fair bit of planning into it, and struggled to whittle it down to only an hour.

5) What are your future plans?
I’d still love to get back into DJing properly, but it’s been impossible over the past year with my son being so young. He’s a bit more independent now, so I’m slowly getting more time to produce a bit more too, which I’m really enjoying again. I did run a club night in Bathgate for a while, but house music is NOT what the locals want, so I sacked it hahahahahahaha. The Mrs and I used to go to Ibiza twice a year, and it would be nice to think that I’m still young enough to return when the wee man’s older and we’re comfortable to leave him with family for a long weekend at least.

6) Anything else you want to mention…..
I reckon I speak to Susan Boyle through my work at least once a month. Genuinely. She’s absolute quality.

In particular, labels like Hessle Audio, Livity Sound, Timedance, Whities, The Trilogy Tapes - there’s so much quality stuff coming out at the moment. In terms of DJs, I really like Ben UFO, Call Super, Objekt, Joy Orbison, Tasker, Or:la, Jon Rust, Avalon Emerson - there’s quite a lot I could name.

4) Tell us about your mix…..
With the mix I wanted to showcase the type of stuff I like to play at Hector’s and keep a balance between house and techno.

5) What are your future plans?
At the moment I’m currently focusing on seventyseven which has come a really long way over a short time all thanks to Hector’s, who have let us play at numerous parties, made us residents and have generally just supported us throughout. We are hoping to get our own party organised at some point too.

6. Anything else you want to mention…..

i first got into DJing when I was about 13 and showed up to a Disclosure concert at the Hydro totally unaware the support act was Jackmaster, who's name id never heard at the time time but after his set there I was sold ,I no doubt get my other taste from my father which consists of a lot of U2, simple minds, talking heads and Big Country, I remember my first record purchase ever being the single of Pride by U2

my favourite DJ's no doubt have to be both jack master and jasper James they boys done it for me growing up and got me into it in first place, Scotland is gifted with many great venues my favourites being sub club and 69 from Glasgow and CabVol from the capital

this mix was recorded in the downstairs of my house, I went and had a bit of fun with this one and chose a selection of sings id imagine id play at DC10 one day if ever given the chance so that sets the vibe

5) What are your future plans?
future plans are to start producing and release a few of my own tracks under our label and DJ full time bouncing from country to country

i remember going to see Jasper James in cab vol a year or so back and at the end of his set he threw us one of the technique Paris slip matts, a year down the line Luke invited us to come play cabal for ourselves and I couldn't help but notice the two un matching slip matts, the other one being in my bedroom so cheers for that boys.

All Night Passion

1) Tell us about yourself…..

2) How did you get into music and DJing?
Quite simply, Snafu opened us up to everything. Without Snafu there would simply be no All Night Passion. Also, weekly trips to Optimo Sunday’s at the Sub Club.

3) Who/what are your favourite DJs/producers/labels?
The best way to start each day is Charlie Bones on NTS radio.
The best djs are often the less prolific ones. KC the Funkaholic, Kamma & Masalo, Red Greg, CC:Disco, Colleen ‘Cosmo’ Murphy.

4) Tell us about your mix…..
We recently started a weekly podcast/radio show called ANPR (All Night Passion Radio). With that we have been focusing on what lies deep in our record collections. This was a chance to bang a little hard. The radio show is available on Soundcloud and iTunes.

5) What are your future plans?
We have some guests coming to Aberdeen later in the year. A big Halloween party, actually the biggest party we’ve ever put together. Another All Day Passion in September. A new ‘House Party’ concept coming in November. Some exciting plans for Glasgow. Continuing the radio show and hopefully returning to Edinburgh ;)

Mystery Season (CONFiDANCE)

1) Tell us about yourself….. 
I’m [Kye Perry] a 2nd year Music Tech student at Edinburgh. Produce music as Mystery Season and put on parties with CONFiDANCE.

2) How did you get into music and DJing?
Started palying piano when I was about 8 and then got into production around 2012, which lead to a show on Subcity with my pal Rose. Decided to start my own night last August in Glasgow which I then brought through to Edinburgh. Love of all things funk comes from my mum, stevie wonder, jamiroquai etc and my dad for the weirder stuff.

Wanted to give a good overall feel of what you could expect at a CONFiDANCE so there’s funk, electro, groovy favs and a couple exclusive remixes and edits I’ve been working on. Had a practice run on Erin's decks then recorded it at cab vol, cheers to luke, ryan and erin for the help

5) What are your future plans?
Hosting the end of term party with Hectors and Cooked on the 25th at Bourbon which I’m incredibly excited for and also playing at Tweak’s 3rd bday. Planning to move into the big room of Mash for our parties towards the end of the year so keep your eyes out for announcements in the future.

Jordy Deelight (CC Blooms / The Street)

1) Tell us about yourself….. 
I [Jordan McKinlay] am a 23 year old all round mess, that by day is a performance artist and drama facilitator in Edinburgh and Glasgow, and by night dusts off an old Adidas hoodie that still fits from s2 in high school, and paints on a face that only your mother (or father) could love. 

I have a love for art, the 90s club kid scene and straight men. 

2) How did you get into music and DJing?
All jokes aside…

I originally started as a DJ in 2013 at my local LGBT + bar, Planet, after the Friday night DJ suggested I get a trial shift for all the song requests I made. I convinced the manager, and after a good 5 years, I am now lucky enough to be a resident DJ at Edinburgh’s leading LGBT + venues, CC Blooms & The Street.  

I was brought up around the likes of Moby, Faithless, Dido, Massive Attack and Madonna. 

My Dad was a DJ himself, and had a passion for disco/funk artists, like Luther Vandross, Oliver Cheatham and Alicia Bridges. 

My era is the 90s. The first track I remember growing up is the music video of Dee Lite’s ‘Groove is in the Heart’ which I would watch over and over. 

3) Who/what are your favourite DJs/producers/labels?
I have a variety of tastes, but I would say my favourite DJs would include: Dimitri From Paris, Claptone, Mousse T, Todd Terry & Robert Owens. 

In Edinburgh’s nightlife I’d say my favourite nights out have been TASTE at Liquid Rooms, Mingin at La Belle Angele & Hot Mess at Sneaky Petes. I’m a big advocate of queer/inclusive nights not specifically aimed at a straight or LGBT + crowds. I’ve always found Hectors to be my favourite week spot for the underground scene. 

4) Tell us about your mix…..
I’d say this mix is true to my aesthetic as a DJ. Fun, progressive, dirty, twists and turns. Just like my tinder bio. 

The mix features remixes of old and new favourites that I’d play in different venues. 

5) What are your future plans?
As well as regularly hosting my bi monthly night at The Street, ‘Glazed’, and monthly residency at CC Blooms, ‘Noughty’, I am looking at developing a collective of queer DJs that will invade straight spaces for the evening, and provide a soundtrack that pays homage to artists/DJs from the 70s till now that have influenced the music scene; and showed support for the LGBT + community whilst doing so. 

Currently I am embarking on a new collective adventure, known as ‘The Judy Party’; a night celebrating the LGBT disco/house scene from the 70s until now, going back to the club kid roots of night life with various LGBT + / ally DJs as guests. The first ‘Judy Party’ takes place at Hectors on 12th June, celebrating PRIDE week and donating to Pride Scotland. 

I am also working on performance art pieces, and producing my own one man drag show in July (follow me on FB for more details, lads) and might even get some new tights.

2) How did you get into music and DJing?
Undoubtedly I get my music taste from my Dad. He opened my eyes to a lot of different music from a young age which I like to think can be heard in my sets. I got my first set of decks at 13 and my first record was Armand van Helden - My My My (still a banger). My first gig was at City Nightclub for Forth One’s unders night, I was on the radio for some competition actually. Me & Liam Doc used to mess around through our teens producing anything; acoustic stuff, hip-hop, dubstep but it was all shite! I’ve only recently got my act together producing which shows with two labels on the go between us, Eyeangle Records & Roux Records.

3) Who/what are your favourite DJs/producers/labels?
Where to start? Scotland smashes it obviously… The Club in Paisley is like nothing I’ve ever experienced, the vibe is on point from start to finish and I’m delighted to get to play there as often as I do. Running Back & Gerd Janson have a big influence on me as does Seth Troxler. He was the first DJ I saw in Ibiza at DC10 and his sound has stuck with me ever since. Hunee & Jayda G are bossing it as well just now.

4) Tell us about your mix…..
This mix was recorded in my bedroom after a morning of digging in Underground Solush’n. People who know me & have seen me play out will know my love for vinyl & disco so I’ve tried to stick as true to my roots as possible with this mix and keep it as “all vinyl” (even though I hate that term) and soulful as possible. It features some unreleased tracks from myself & from my label Roux Records.

5) What are your future plans?
I’m really excited to see what the future holds for my label. I have some real talent lined up to release which is brilliant. The boys at Eyeangle are smashing it as well and the parties are top notch - long may it continue!

6) Anything else you want to mention…..
My debut release on Roux Records “Roumix 01” was released on the 20th April and can be purchased via our Bandcamp here; rouxrecords.bandcamp.com. Keep an eye out for future releases, there are plenty in the pipeline.

1) Tell us about yourself….. 
19 years old Edinburgh born and raised... 1/4 of the Hometown fleeto who have the delight of playing at Hector's four times a year.

2) How did you get into music and DJing?
I have always been a music head as it is how I was brought up. With my Dad's side heavily influencing me with the likes of Oasis/Kasabian/Stereophonics when I was very young and then my Mum's side of classic disco/disco house creeping in near the end of my high school days. Only recently I have taken a vast interest in my uncle's love for electronic music which branches off from when he was a DJ in Edinburgh in the 90's under the name of 'The Waxman'. I first started playing in small nights in Cafe Voltaire (to about 10 of my mates) where I wasn't showcasing to a large group of people and got pretty fed up of what I could do with the limited number of punters, so I started up Hometown with a few of my pals onboard and its been all fun and games ever since.

3) Who/what are your favourite DJs/producers/labels?
Tough question as it varies so much but at the moment I'm really into Krystal Klear, Big Miz, Harry Parsons and DJ Spen to name a few.

4) Tell us about your mix…..
The mix was recorded in my bedroom after a long day at graft. I eased myself into it to get myself in the mood and finished with my favourite tune from when I started going to Hector's and a go to if I'm ever playing a big party.

5) What are your future plans?
I've been learning how to produce music and focusing myself on it a lot more recently. I plan on getting some EP material made up and getting it out at some point but who knows how long that'll take. I have a great community out at Skapade  ** who have been giving me some guidance on how to go about this recently.

6) Anything else you want to mention…..

1) Tell us about yourself….. 
19 years old Edinburgh born and raised... 1/4 of the Hometown fleeto who have the delight of playing at Hector's four times a year.

2) How did you get into music and DJing?
I have always been a music head as it is how I was brought up. With my Dad's side heavily influencing me with the likes of Oasis/Kasabian/Stereophonics when I was very young and then my Mum's side of classic disco/disco house creeping in near the end of my high school days. Only recently I have taken a vast interest in my uncle's love for electronic music which branches off from when he was a DJ in Edinburgh in the 90's under the name of 'The Waxman'. I first started playing in small nights in Cafe Voltaire (to about 10 of my mates) where I wasn't showcasing to a large group of people and got pretty fed up of what I could do with the limited number of punters, so I started up Hometown with a few of my pals onboard and its been all fun and games ever since.

3) Who/what are your favourite DJs/producers/labels?
Tough question as it varies so much but at the moment I'm really into Krystal Klear, Big Miz, Harry Parsons and DJ Spen to name a few.

4) Tell us about your mix…..
The mix was recorded in my bedroom after a long day at graft. I eased myself into it to get myself in the mood and finished with my favourite tune from when I started going to Hector's and a go to if I'm ever playing a big party.

5) What are your future plans?
I've been learning how to produce music and focusing myself on it a lot more recently. I plan on getting some EP material made up and getting it out at some point but who knows how long that'll take. I have a great community out at Skapade  ** who have been giving me some guidance on how to go about this recently.

6) Anything else you want to mention…..

1) Tell us about yourself…..
I [Liam Docherty] run Eyeangle Records with my cousin Daniel and we’ve been putting out various artists over the past year. I love making and playing music and it’s the one thing I’ve always been certain I want to make a career out of. I’ve been producing seriously for about 4 years now, I started off doing a bit of everything, acoustic, electronic, hip hop and over the past two years gravitated towards disco, house and techno. The label has been getting really busy recently and getting a good amount of attention through our releases and our club night “Aura” in Paisley. I also recently had some success with Big Miz and Denis Sulta regularly playing my tracks out and two of my edits (one of which is in my mix) were featured in Denis’ BBC Radio 1 essential mix.

1) Tell us about yourself…..
My [Tamm Smith] background lies in the wonderful world of science. I am a former Microbiologist, and now work in the field of Cyber Security. All of my spare time is devoted to music in one way or another, listening, producing, mixing, and looking for new tracks.

2) How did you get into music and DJing?
I have always had a great love of music, my Mum was always playing Disco around the house and I grew up with a large love of music and the feelings it can evoke in people. I started Djing after I was asked if I spin at a music conference in the USA by Sista stroke a Dj who I admire., That question stuck with me so I decided to teach myself to play. The first record I ever bought now you are asking , lol I have no idea, although I still have a massive collection of Happy hardcore and Dutch dance tunes. I remember paying like £15 for an import EP, back in the day. I used to be big into clubbing a few years ago and have attended some great Clubs and after parties here in Edinburgh. The last club night I was at, was to see Paul Johnston a few weeks ago which was awesome.

3) Who/what are your favourite DJs/producers/labels?
This is difficult, the greatest producer in my eyes is the RZA from Wu Tang Clan, the way in which he is able to sample is truly amazing. In the dance music scene, Djs I admire are, DJ Premier, Khaled, Dj Dan, Dj Heather, Ian Pooley,Phil Weeks, Chocco, Housego an amazing producer and Dj from Edinburgh who always brings it musically, The Filta Freqz who have just had a Defected release, and Sista Stroke, a female Dj, songwriter , and producer. All these guys have given me invaluable advice when it comes to Djing and producing, and I am truly thankful for their support.
Some of the producers I play a lot are Dario D'Attis, Electronic Youth, Re-Tide, Benny Royal, The Deepshakerz, Sonny Wharton, Filta Freqz, Housego. Label wise, there are so many good labels out there it is hard to be specific in which ones are my favourite, I spend hours looking for tunes and usually go cross genre, If I like it I will play it.

4) Tell us about your mix…..
Mix was recorded live at the Psycho Social Club Headquarters aka my studio. The thoughts behind the mix were just playing some of my favourite tunes, some old some new and hopefully someone will like it.

5) What are your future plans?
Future plans, well to keep working on my label and my own music, I am luck that I have the chance to work with some awesome artists, both producers and Dj’s. I have currently 2 radio shows one in the USA and one in Canada, I am still just loving playing my tunes to the world. I hope this summer to step up my production game, currently working on a tune called cherry at the moment which I hope to have out soon, along with some remixes.

Runs OTMR. SInce about 14 been into "dance music" since attending underage night in dunfermline (thanks martin). got into production first then DJing later. First proper release was my own white label sold out the boot of car to record shops in glasgow and edinburgh around 2000. Ranked in the top 20 jackin producers by Traxsource in 2017.

At uni in Stirling i got deeper into the music, went out a lot to nights in Edinburgh and Glasgow. Memerable nights from that era have included Cox at the arches, Harry and Dom at the subby, Paul Trouble Anderson at the Honeycomb. Production followed alongside using computers, only recently have i been able to afford hardware and I use a yamaha desk and tr8 drum machine among other things when producing tracks.

I’m [Erin Carroll] a student from Cumbernauld, that studies popular music at Edinburgh Napier, where I play the bass. Most of the time is mwi and working on my DJing and my night club Error404.

2) How did you get into music and DJing?
Told myself ages ago, whatever I do in life, as long as I’m partying; I love dancing as much as DJing. I had never listened to that type of music before the months coming up to my 18th birthday, and when my pal’s brought their CDJs to my bday gaff I decided to buy my own set (Korg Kaoss DJ controllers lol). All of a sudden I was sucked into the eternal void of dance music. I love the vibe and community dance music creates, and at the end of the day, it’s a sweet life to have a good time all the time.

3) Who/what are your favourite DJs/producers/labels?
Personally, I don’t look for labels, I look for sound. My taste is music is really wide: bassline, ukg, techno, house… but my style is predominantly tech house. As a bassist, I love the bass; I love the conga drums layered over each over to create that rolling, tribal sound; I love mad noises but honestly all I want are party vibes for any occasion. I don’t believe in playing tunes under 126BPM - in my club night I encourage DJs to not play ‘warm-up’ sets - and as a lover of all the styles, I believe in DJs playing the set they want to play. It adds dynamic to the short 4 hours we are given, like a roll of a dice.

4) Tell us about your mix…..
Recorded on Pioneer XDJ-RX - 127BPM
Wanted to go big bassy tech house party vibes, but can’t drag myself away from percussion. I personally believed my mixing was safe in this mix. I got nostalgic at the end: some of my favourite Bainfield classics, and many tracks that remind me of Hector’s House.

5) What are your future plans?
During and after uni, I intend on being a DJ and session bassist with perhaps a part time job. As much as I enjoy bass, it is [more of a hobby] than DJing, which I fully pursue. Along with my night club, I put my heart and soul into the [life]path of sweet thumping beats.

1) Tell us about yourself…..
Been DJing since I was at school as a hobby but only been doing it 'properly' for the last 4/5 years. 

2) How did you get into music and DJing?
Delved into some weird and crap musical corners along the way but Ten City 'That's The Way Love Is' was 'genesis' for me, the starting point of my love of the US garage/soulful and deep house sound that is a staple of my sets. As time progressed and I started to pay more attention to and learn about the history of the music and the scene, I've added a love of disco and balearica to my sets. 

Clubbing-wise been a regular on the scene as a punter since the early 90's when Cab Vol was the Honeycomb with nights like Groove Theory being an education.

3) Who/what are your favourite DJs/producers/labels?
Since being urged to start playing out by a certain Yogi Haughton, I have played with the likes of DJ Sneak, Honey Dijon, Marshall Jefferson, Danny Krivit, Carl Dupree, Sandy Rivera, Fish Go Deep, Horse Meat Disco, Graeme Park, Groove Assassin, Late Nite Tuff Guy, 808 State and Paul Trouble Anderson along with most of the amazing local selectors like Yogi, Martin Valentine, Gareth Somerville, Natasha Kitty Katt and Gav Miller. Along the way, I've also produced over 100 radio shows on Solar [UK], 674FM [Germany], Starpoint [UK], Groove City Radio [UK] & Pure107 [UK].

4) Tell us about your mix…..
With regards the mix itself, its part of a live recording of the entire night (room 3 at Hectors in January this year) so is more of a snapshot of how things can go off in all sorts of directions musically in a live set. I never plan sets out, what's the point in that? Defeats the point of playing live - be as well just sticking a CD on.

5) What are your future plans?
For the future, along with continuing my love affair with Hectors, I've got various other projects in the pipeline for local consumption and maybe a few things further afield too.

Lobos (HYBRiD / Edinburgh Disco Lovers)

1) Tell us about yourself…..
I’m originally from Dalgety Bay in Fife #bayboys4life. Lived in Edinburgh for almost 4 years, 2 years as a student then worked full time since finishing Uni. 

2) How did you get into music and DJing?
I’ve always been mad about music, studied sound production at college and sound design at Uni. Bought a controller just over two years ago with some spare cash, practised, played at parties/afters then helped set up HYBRiD with a group of likeminded friends. I have been a big fan of electronic music for a long time, following the likes of Deadmau5 and Pendulum back in the day. My education in underground music came from Hectors/FLY Club very early on, then other nights around the cowgate helped to shape it further. 

3) Who/what are your favourite DJs/producers/labels?
My favourite types of music vary slightly, I love deep melodic techno that you get from the likes of Stephan Bodzin & Victor Ruiz but also the harder, minimal Berlin style stuff that you might hear Ben Klock or Dax J smashing out. Then at the same time I run a nonprofit charity night called Edinburgh Disco Lovers, which I don’t think needs much explaining. I’ve also gotten really into older sounding Italo/electro over the last year, so I guess it really depends on what mood I’m in. But you’ll pretty much never hear me play a set of one specific genre, I like a bit of variety, especially in longer sets like on the 24th. 

4) Tell us about your mix…..
The mix was recorded on an Audio Technica Turntable, 2 CDJ 350's and a DJM 350 mixer. It's an attempt to combine the lighter side of my tastes along with the darker ones. House/Disco/Italo moves into some Breakbeat/Techno. Sort of how it might sound if i tried to squeeze all the styles i might play in a full night into 1 hour.6. Tracklist;

5) What are your future plans?
I’m currently trying to make my own music, which is a lot of work/learning and have a lot of exciting plans with HYBRiD that we’ll be able to announce over the coming months, our next party is at Greyfriars Kirk with an afterparty at FLY Club for our quarterly residency. The space is incredible and we’ve got an incredibly talented Edinburgh Local producer and DJ Kieran Apter, who I’m sure most of the Hectors faithful will know, joining us for that so I’m very excited. 

6) Anything else you want to mention…..
I feel like I’ve rambled on more than enough, so I’ll hopefully see everyone on the 24th, Josh and Calum who are joining me are good guys and even better DJs.

1) Tell us about yourself…..
I am stvvv, real name Steve (shock), I’m 24 and I’m an Edinburgh local.
I’m fortunate enough to actually be able to work full time as a DJ; I studied Digital Media specialising in sound design, I graduated in 2016 and managed to do shite all with the degree but I get to say I’m an honorary bachelor of science now so it’s cushty.
Beyond that I’m pretty into snowboarding and watching Its Always Sunny for the millionth time.

2) How did you get into music and DJing?
I’ve been into music for as long as I can remember, I’m pretty sure I was obsessed with the Spice Girls, Robbie Williams and Tom Jones when I was wee; then my mum got me into old punk bands when I hit my teenage years, I still love The Ramones.
I’ve always been pretty musical, I started learning guitar when I was about 8 (didn’t really stick) and brass at about 10 (that did stick, I play the tuba these days 😎), that led me to playing drums in a band called DARC which led me to DJing. We were like a shitter version of The Prodigy, we got airplay on Radio 1 and played T in the Park though so we must have been alright!
First record I ever bought... I got the D12 & Eminem – My Band and Twista – Sunshine singles back in the day, does that count?

3) Who/what are your favourite DJs/producers/labels?
I really rate anything/everything that Luckyme put out, if you don’t know them they’re a Scottish based label that are associated with people like Hudson Mohawke, Eclair Fifi, Rustie, Jacques Green & Baauer. Every year they do a takeover night at Sneakies and it’s banging; I managed to get the night off and go last year, they had Eclair Fifi and Nina Las Vegas (Australian DJ/label boss, check her out as well she’s shit hot) and it was helfy.

4) Tell us about your mix…..
I didn’t want to another straight up Funk Kitchen mix as it wasn’t that long ago we put up the last one so I decided to try and show off a wee bit. Saying that, god only knows what happened, the mix goes from disco to house to old school funk to acid techno but hey ho it’s all subjective eh.
I cheated a wee bit and recorded the mix in Ableton, partly because it lets me be a perfectionist and fine tune everything, mostly because my DDJ controller is fucked and I can’t record out of it.

5) What are your future plans?
I will be at Hectors until they decide to get rid of me or until I get that Coachella booking, I also have a couple of other residencies around Edinburgh throughout the week (check out my Facebook page for details).
I will be making an appearance at the Crews Against Cancer party on the 27th, and hopefully if things go to plan I will be running another wee party night in the near future so keep your eyes/ears peeled!

1) Tell us about yourself…..
From Fundee originally, in my 3rd year of uni here in Edinburgh. 

2) How did you get into music and DJing?
Come from a pretty music loving family where there was always tunes being played in the house. Dad is really into his nu jazz and has a great collection, mum loves her classical and used to teach loads of music theory. I used to hate anything electronic until I came to uni where I was exposed to night clubs the electronic scene. Nothing beats a club with a good atmosphere where everyones only there for the music and proper dancing, not caring about their snapchat story. 
I play a couple of instruments and am always demanding the aux to show mates tunes I think are nice, so I put the two together and bought a some equipment last year. 

3) Who/what are your favourite DJs/producers/labels?
I don’t have a favourite genre of music really, i guess most of my tunes in my library are uplifting house party kinda house vibes. I get obsessed with a sub genres and spend ages trying to find tunes in it, but I’m impatient so when l hit a dry patch il try a genre/label haven’t before. Its fun though because it means I have loads of different tunes for different moods and can play my favourite tunes from different genres in a set.
Over the last couple of months I have been mad into my acid house, wonky UK and Berlin techno, and softer more jazzy lo-fi house. Recently got a few records from dirt crew recordings as well as toy tonics who are both sick labels, always releasing new and original house. The kind of records will still sound fresh in 5 years time.

Starts chilled and progresses into heavy techno/eletcro. Wanted to keep chilled as I’m playing warm up, but got carried away like 2/3 in and chucked on some heavier than normally would tunes which went better than I thought. I’ve made a couple of mixes but none with jazzier tunes so I made an effort to get some in at the start. Wasn’t trying to show new tunes I found, just ones that get me dancing. Was recorded in my room while me and a couple of mates were having a drink and a dance.

5) What are your future plans?
I wanna try some producing over summer, I’m buying some software next month and going to try some african vocal techno & house edits.

6) Anything else you want to mention…..
Come for a dance next Tuesday, I proper rate Josh and Stephens music taste’s and am excited to see them play together. Also just jumpin to play in Cab Vol room 1 for hectors, I think its a sick venue and looking back on it, hectors was probably the main reason I got into this kind of music.

Doug Johnson (HWTS)

1)Tell us about yourself…..
Edinburgh local, 3rd year out at Heriot Watt, and play lots of tunes especially for HWTS

2) How did you get into music and DJing?
My eldest brother had always been showing me tunes like Henrick Schwarz while I was at school, but stopped listening to Kesha remixes after going to Cab Vol for the first time and seeing Hector resie Alex Hogan’s festival party in summer of 2014. Loved it, tunes, vibe etc. saw how much craic he and the crowd was having, and thought I’d love to do that.

3) Who/what are your favourite DJs/producers/labels?
Love all sorts, jump around genres all the time. Personally I love Synthy tracks so Denis Sulta has always been a favourite of mine. But right now into Hessel Audio and the likes of Pearson sound, tunes are mad and like how they break away from the 4x4 standard.

4) Tell us about your mix…..
Just pressed recorded and took it from there, don’t plan any of my sets, as you are restricting yourself I feel. With this mix, it started relatively disco and easy listening and just kinda gradually took it up. Nothing heavy.

5) What are your future plans?
Lucky enough to be involved in the HWTS, Everyone involved especially Dan and Euan have made it into quite the party, Big Miz played for us couple weeks ago. Which is Mad for a wee uni society. So a lot more parties in the works with HWTS, and of course love to grow and invite more friends to be part this Doug + friends series.
