Growing up in the Midlands, I was exposed to reggae, and that connection has stayed with me through the different sounds I’ve explored as a DJ.
Babylon X-Files (DUBBY MIX) brings those roots into a one-hour journey. The selection connects dub and reggae with breakbeat, dubstep and heavier bass music, drawing together voices, rhythms and different kinds of energy. Horace Andy, Dub Syndicate and Mungo’s Hi Fi sit within that wider musical conversation.
What draws me to dub is the relationship between groove and space: a bassline carrying the music, a voice appearing, an echo hanging behind it. That feeling also shaped the cover—two kids on bikes turning into a Midlands alleyway, with the movement blurred like a delay.
Have a listen, follow the journey, and let me know which part stays with you.
DJ Hari

Genre: Dub / Reggae / Breakbeat / Dubstep / Bass
Duration: 1 hour

TRACKLIST — SUPPLIED ORDER

Time — Easy AllStars
Bring The Lights Down — SoundProof
Do You Love My Music — Black Star Liner — Horace Andy
The X-Files (Dub Mix) — Romero Walker
Africa Dub — Jah Shaka, The Twinkle Brothers
Fight The Power — [artist to confirm]
Wilmot (Edit) — The Sabres Of Paradise
Positive Force Dub — Prince Fatty Meets… [credit incomplete]
Babylon Timewarp — Mungo’s Hi Fi
Emmanuell — Dub Syndicate
Sound Minded — Vibronics
Love Your Life — Tayo Meets Acid Rock — Ed Solo, Skool of Thought
Live & Direct — Jinx In Dub
Love Rockers — Mooncat
King of Kings — Drumsound & Sound “bassline” Smith
Ring Of Fire — Mooncat

or exclusive offers: https://www.djhari.com
Radio Replay: https://hearthis.at/hari-dj-pm/live/
Follow: @hari_dj_uk | YouTube @hariDj-s8w
https://img.hearthis.at/1/2/5/_/uploads/10865177/image_track/14712110/w1200_h628_q70_ptrue_v2_----cropped_1791385157521.jpg

hari Dj
https://hearthis.at/hari-dj-pm/"}
