This is my latest mix. Good friend and one of wellington's stalwart DJ's, Dannyboy, was a mentor and one of the original inspirations that set me on the path of DJing. He now resides in Sydney and has asked me to supply a mix for his Saturday prime slot radio show on budgiecollective.com 'Feng Shui Faders' which podcasts from 8-10pm NZT, 6-8pm Sydney Time. This one is very much a hark back to tunes that turned me on in the early 00's but with a NuTech flavor. Full of deep tech vibes awash with old school vocals and sample. For those that have been on my dance floor or know the vibe I have always pushed many of these tunes will be recognised as signature tunes and electronic classics, but with a twist. Dannyboy took me under his musical wing and influenced many of the tunes on here so it has been a real pleasure to mix this and have it feature on his current radio show. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did mixing it.
