A modern 'Dancefloor-Ready' take on Jeff Wayne's Musical Version of The War of the Worlds, retelling the story of the 1898 novel The War of The Worlds by H. G. Wells.

Ive taken lots of remixes iof the original soundtrack ive gathered over the years, made lots of my own edits and remixes, carefully taken samples from the original narration by Richard Burton, mixed it all toger into one seamless mix and condensed the whole album into just over one hours worth of pure Martian Dancefloor Madness (just add Mushrooms)...

I grew up listening to War of the Worlds on Vinyl in the late 70s/early 80s and is one of my biggest musical influences alongside the likes of Jean Michel jarre, Mike Oldfield, Vangelis & Pink Floyd. i remember playing a small part in a school performance of the album. around about the time the original album was released (must have been around 1978/1979). it is one of my favourite peices of music from growing up, so this mix is something that is very close to my heart. I wanted to remain faithful to the original soundtrack as it is such a classic piece of music from my childhood. I hope I have done Jeff Wayne and HG Wells justice...Put your headphones on and crank the volume up high...
