I'm living in Essling, a north-eastern district of Vienna, where famous Jazz musicians Fatty George and Bill Grah were born. In Essling there is a Jazz park, a Jazz festival ... almost everything seems to be Jazz. I'm not very familiar with Jazz, but there are a few musicians I've already known (and loved) like Bohren & Der Club of Gore from Germany and Bugge Wesseltoft from Norway. Furthermore I started to search for the styles of Jazz that don't annoy me and I found many good tunes at the interface between Jazz, Doom Jazz, Electronica and Ambient.

Austrian radio presenter Heinz Reich from Radio FM4 was very enthusiastic about my selection and played it in his show La boum de luxe (actuallly a House/Techno/DJ-Show) on Jan. 8th 2016. And now you can listen to this radio show at this point if you want. Enjoy!
