Grace Schella

Wien, Österreich

Grace Schella is a Vienna based dj and known for her dynamic vinyl sets, which can span over various genres, telling a story from disco to techno. As much as she loves to energize a dancefloor her interest is equally focused away from it, going more into the experimental and eclectic sounds of electronic music.

A solid technician behind the decks, Grace is respected for her thoughtful selection, gliding through soulful house, electro bangers and straight up techno.

As a former founding member of the female DJ Collective ‘Viennoise’ she has engaged in promoting bi-monthly parties, exhibitions and DJ workshops in Vienna since 2013.

In 2015, she curated the interdisciplinary group exhibition & sound week 'Electropia' at mo.ë.Wien. After that she got assigned to curate a Swiss web radio for a year, yet returned to promote club nights in Vienna.

She has found a new home with the “Brutalists” and the “female:pressure” network lately. Club references: Flex, Grelle Forelle, Venster99, Fluc, Rhiz, Das Werk, Elektro Gönner, Ottakringer Brauerei, Sass, Pratersauna, Volksgarten/Pavillion - Vienna, ((Stereo)), Wats (Belgrade, Srb), 25th (Belgrade, Srb) Tante Emma (Berlin, Ger) among others. Words supply by G.K.
