Carter is one of the musical pseudonyms and alter egos of young enthusiastic spinner Tshidiso Makoti. He is also co-founder of the respectable growing movement known as Helmet Cracker Movement [HCM]; alongside fellow spinners and friends Simphiwe Simmy, Glenn Hobbs, and Mojaki Ratsoe.
Carter started to develop interest in the art of DJ'ing sometime around 2011, although it wasn't until another 2 years he actually got behind the decks. Furthermore, even though hes gotten quite familiar with his way around the decks, hes still yet to accommodate himself with playing for a crowd; hes still finds it a bit peculiar to his nature. In summary, theres not much to say about Carter's play in the field just yet.
Carter draws his inspiration from his fellow HCM selectors, as well as other local movements and selectors within his relative universe; it is quite a long list.

I'd like to think of myself as a walking paradox of a very simple yet complex young fella. What can I say, I love listening to music, and I love playing it out loud more; well not quite sure about that, probably love listening more than I do playing, it's a blur line. I've been blessed with a soul that can understand quite a number of things; that helps me view things from different perspectives... Well it's a blessing and a curse. A blessing because I can travel across the multiverse; a curse because I never know where to start. I suppose my story is that I'm still learning how to find myself in order to utilize my potential and talents to the fullest; I believe the mortals refer to it as "purpose". For now Carter is all about love, music, art and literature.

In conclusion allow me to quote myself to you as I attempt to find a needle in a haystack; "Prey to self-diagnosed Dissociative Identity Disorder. The rest I leave to those with a token of intuitive esteem."
