Cape Town based DJ, deep house enthusiast King Gideon hails out of Pretoria, Gauteng. When not performing he spends his time coding and developing apps. A self-taught DJ driven by his passion for music having used it as a tool to experience true serenity. For him growing up music played an essential role in connecting him to his family, having been exposed to RnB and Soul, now that has manifested into the pivotal foundation regarding the music he likes to play. King Gideon has had a lot of time to develop his sound starting in 2010 when he began to mix using a computer software, this being the genesis of him branching out into other music genres. Atjazz acted as catalyst in King Gideon finding his true sound and has led him to accumulate experience through becoming a resident DJ at Joint House Music, House & Friends and having featured at Zeal Nation Music Blog.

His mixed spectrum of musical influences has led him to infuse it into a sound he loves resulting in the production of deep house, deep tech, minimal, ambient, soulful and afro tech sounds. With music that creates peace of mind and tranquillity he hopes to allow his audience feel the same while ensuring that he accentuates a mood that can get you moving your body regardless of the genre, tempo, style or release date.
