Les Tleilaxu sont retors et insidieux. Leur absence totale d'inhibitions morales ferait presque passer le Baron Harkonnen pour un tyran "classique", respectueux des traditions.
Les Tleilaxu poursuivent leurs propres buts secrets et se moquent bien du contrôle de l'Epice. Wensicia, la Guilde et le Bene Gesserit en feront frais dans le Messie de Dune. Bien que conjuré d'un complot, le Bene Tleilax suit en même temps ses propres plans en ayant anticipé la mort de Chani.
Première possibilité : le ghola se "réveille" et les Tleilaxu bénéficient d'une formidable publicité : ils ressuscitent Chani et peuvent acheter-contrôler Paul par cette forme particulière d'immortalité. Deuxième possibilité : le plan de Scytale échoue et le ghola tue Paul ; le Bene Tleilax reste gagnant car ayant permis le triomphe du complot.
Le Bene Tleilax gagne sur tous les tableaux.

The Tleilaxu are twisted and insidious.

The Tleilaxu pursue their own secret goals and scoff at the control of the Spice. Wensicia, the Guild, and the Bene Gesserit will make it fresh in the Messiah of Dune.
Although conspired by a plot, the Bene Tleilax at the same time follows his own plans by anticipating the death of Chani.
First possibility: the ghola is "waking up" and the Tleilaxu have great publicity: they revive Chani and can buy-control Paul by this particular form of immortality.
Second possibility: Scytale's plan fails and the ghola kills Paul; the Bene Tleilax remains a winner because it allowed the triumph of the plot.
Bene Tleilax wins on all fronts.
