Bio which is self explanary below concerning our guest music exploits and journey.

My name is Gert-Jan (GMLAB), 50 years old and I live in the Netherlands. My interest in music started very early when I was 3 years old. I loved to listen to Funk, Soul and African Gospel on my dad's record player. Around the age of 12 I started saving money for a good sound system and then I came into contact with a computer. During my DJ hobby I also became interested in making music myself. I was able to discover the world of the first generation in electronic (MIDI) equipment and building a good music studio. After all the experimenting and learning later I started publishing my own tracks through official channels such as record labels and promoting my music on the dance floor and radio. This is how I built my music career over the past 30 years and made my experience, also on commission such as radio jingles, audio logos and audio/visuals/vj theater productions.

In addition, I started organizing parties with a large group of DJ friends. My contribution was to provide the Vj visuals on large projector screens and to create its own theme for each party. And so I created special video loops in my studio with 3d effects and texts that I could use at the party.
I also had my own radio station for about 8 years in my studio room. I spun a wide horizon of music types and every Friday I did a live DJ show with camera and mixed vinyl records with the Technics. It was a great time to be a pioneer to experience the development of live streaming of live content. I wrote my own scripts for my website so that anyone could link my radio with ease. It was a fun time that I like to look back on.

Nowadays I am only concerned with making graphic 3d illustrations, 3d animations and mixes. Unfortunately I said goodbye to my entire studio 4 years ago because I moved and have not the space as before. Nevertheless, I still enjoy making mixes a lot and I like to post them online for the listeners.
