▀ WHO THE F... IS GERAD?

(ENG) Since many years Gerad is popular and well known for his versatile sound.
But also his action-packed skills behind the decks are always a guarantor for good vibes and a loaded dacefloor.

Meanwhile he has performed in all four cardinal points of the republic and has played alongside with international stars like Avicii, Martin Garrix, Oliver Heldens, Fedde Le Grand, Steve Aoki, Laidback Luke and many more, just to name a few of them.

Untill today, you can see him regularly in well-known clubs such as the Bootshaus, Cologne, or at in- and outdoor festivals with up to 15.000 party people in venues like, for example, the Westfalenhall, Dortmund or the Grugahall in Essen, Germany.

In the meantime he has been DJing for more than 12 years now and also celebrates great successes with his productions, mashups, bootlegs and mix series.
His releaes „Shake Down“ and „Dat Bassline“ were supported by top acts like, Vinai, Cuebrick and Le Shuuk and his latest single "The Joker" even placed in the TOP50 of the official German Dance Charts.

From the musically point of view, there is no real difinition for his style, cos he calls himself as an electronic allrounder.
But if you have to discribe him, he would move between „Power-House“ with extra drive and bouncy Future-House up to pumping Electro and the international reveled „EDM-Festival-Sound“.

He always combines all these influences creatively with scratch performances, sound effects and acapellas to an explosive and unique total product.
And this makes a show with Gerad also visually a pleasure again and again, when you check out his hands wild treating the setup, or simply watch him going nuts with the crowd.

(GER) Seit vielen Jahren schon ist Gerad bekannt und beliebt für seinen facettenreichen Sound. Aber auch seine actionreichen Skills an den Decks sind stets ein Garant für ausgelassene Stimmung und einen gut gefüllten Dancefloor.

Inzwischen hat er alle vier Himmelsrichtungen der Republik beschallt und dabei auch an der Seite internationaler Stars wie Avicii, Martin Garrix, Oliver Heldens, Fedde Le Grand, Steve Aoki, Laidback Luke und vielen weiteren gespielt.

Bis heute sieht man ihn regelmäßig in namenhaften Clubs, wie beispielsweise auch schon dem Kölner Bootshaus, oder auf In- und Outdoor Festivals mit bis zu 15.000 Feierwütigen in Locations, zu denen sich zB. die Westfalenhalle Dortmund, oder die Grugahalle in Essen zählen.

Mittlerweile ist Gerad seit über 12 Jahren als DJ unterwegs und feiert auch mit seinen Produktionen, Mashups, Bootlegs und Mixen große Erfolge.
Seine Releases „Shake Down“ und
„Dat Bassline“ bekamen u.a. Support von Top-Acts wie Vinai, Cuebrick oder Le Shuuk und seine letzte Single „The Joker“ platzierte sich sogar in den TOP 50 der offiziellen Deutschen Dance Charts.

Musikalisch gibt es eigentlich keine echte Schublade für Gerad, da er sich gern als elektronischer Allrounder bezeichnet. Müsste man jedoch seinen Style beschreiben, würde er sich zwischen „Power-House“ mit Schub und bouncigem Future-House, bis hin zu pumpendem Electro und dem international gefeierten „EDM-Festival Sound“.

All diese Einflüsse kombiniert er stets kreativ mit wilden Scratch-Einlagen, Sound-Effekten und Acapellas zu einem explosiven und einmaligen Gesamtprodukt.

Dadurch ist ein Abend mit ihm auch optisch immer wieder ein Genuß, wenn man ihm während seiner Sets auf die Finger schaut, die wild das gesamte Setup bearbeiten, oder ihn einfach nur dabei beobachtet, wie er die Connection zum Publikum aufbaut und gemeinsam mit ihm feiert.
