The Emcee tells the listener to carry the pride of the tribe up like the 'Ndere' that accompanies traditional music and dance. He then introduces us to what actually happens in a traditional dance scene between a male character and a beautiful African girl who tease eachother about who dances better.

'Ndere' in Lugbarati refers to a rich traditional dance tool made out of the tail of cattle and wood that usually is carried along by male dancers. This particular tool made by few artisans inspired the song and is a common aspect of traditional dance in West Nile, Northern Uganda and other parts of Africa.

This all gave us such a groovy fusion of modern, traditional African beats and style which is a characteristic of the Gbaraspoken Emcee we know as an Indigenous Emcee.
