We really dodged the bullet of free broadband, a government that actually listens to the scientists, an early full lockdown, properly funding the NHS and furloughing workers so they wouldn't be put at risk.
Many lives could have been saved but better to put off the next market crash that little bit longer by keeping the high streets open for unessential items and services.

While 2017 has been significantly better than 2016 personally, we can't avoid the amount of damage done by Trump, in particular with help from the FCC to kill Net Neutrality which will affect everyone who uses the internet not just the US. It's an attack on our freedom of speech and access and distribution of free information and needs to be protected.

We also need to protect this Earth we all inhabit. Reduce what you consume in clothing and luxuries, avoid polluting the environment where you live, recycle what you can, cut down on meat in your diet.
