azaro

New York, United States

Throughout several years of success playing in most of the top clubs in Latin America, Romullo Azaro has unquestionably become one of the most prominent DJ’s in Brazil as well as a top music producer worldwide.

By not limiting himself to one single genre of music, Azaro travels from circuit to tech house without ever losing his true identity as an artist.

Proof of this is evident in a number of his tracks since 2010, such as his approach to the Irish band The Cranberries (remixing their huge 90’s success “Linger”); as well as the whole new face he gave to David Morales’ classic “How Would You Feel”, largely played worldwide.

These remixes not only gave Romullo the title of best up-and-coming producer of the year by the prestigious magazine Junior but ended up becoming the main theme for Twice, one of the most famous house parties in São Paulo.

Supported by great names such as; DJ Mauro Mozart, Paulo Pacheco, Renato Cecin, collaborating with DJ Ana Paula, and the North American duo Midnight Society, also Spanish duo Magic Solutions and remixes from Pharrel Williams to David Morales, Romullo’s passion for house music can only be described through his tracks and uplifting sets.

The Week (Brazil), Pacha (Brazil and Argentina), Creamfields (Brazil and Argentina), Hell & Heaven (Brazil), Spirit of Star (France), The Manor (USA), Jungle (USA), Amnesia (Portugal), are only a few of the many important clubs and circuit parties Romullo has commanded.

Resident DJ to one of the biggest gay websites in Brazil – Disponivel.com – on their annual tour by covering 13 clubs and sealing the experience at the São Paulo Gay Pride, playing for no less than 150 thousand people. Also resident at E.njoy (Rio de Janeiro – Brazil), The Pub (Goiânia – Brazil), Meet (Fortaleza – Brazil) and Black Box (Curitiba – Brazil).

List of productions include the hits “Happy” by Pharrel Williams; “How Would You Feel” by David Morales; “So Beautiful”, “Song of Ice and Fire – The Game of Thrones Opening Theme” and “When I say So” collaborating with DJ Ana Paula; The newly released “Aquarela do Brasil”, 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games Official Theme, performed by Amannda.
