Hi Music Lovers, here is finally my personal Rework of this early 80's anthem, the classic "Hey Nineteen" track from the Gaucho album...
Ya'll know my love and respect for all Steely Dan music !..
Donald Fagen and Walter Becker are incredibly good, So I wanted to, very modestly pay tribute to their musical maestri through this personal re-look...
I have added the participation of the dynamic duo of Pete Rock & C.L Smooth on the intro, but the original track is already sooo good in its former version that I did not want to touch it a lot.
Just wanted to refresh the incredible original drumming from Rick Marota, and, of course, give more space to Donald Fagen's original percussive Rhodes chords, and I also, by the way, extended Don's solo from its original form...
