Hi Music Lovers,
A Funky track from Miss Marilyn Scott 1983 album originally produced by Michael Sembello that I wanted to re vamp...
There is the full cast of the Yellow Jackets on this one, including her husband Russell Ferrante on Keyboards, Rickie Lawson on Drums, and Jimmy Haslip on Bass (incredible Bass player who is playing "left handed" on a "right handed" turned Bass...)

BPM is 99;
I had real fun in reworking on a Back Beat to enhance Rickie Lawson's incredible drumming...
I also wanted to add a short intro that could drive the track "Ragamuffin styleeeee" ! ... But just for the into...
At the end you will hear a wonderful solo on the Rhodes by Russell Ferrante that I wanted to extend a bit, in order to enhance the pleasure of hearing it.
Miss Marilyn Scott is currently preparing a new album, and needless to say that I recommend you to watch out for it.
Please buy and listen to all her wonderful Jazz albums, you'll find some incredible mellow and love songs.
