We say hello to Von Krup, our new discovery from the other side of the Atlantic. This young dude is from Mexico City, s. o easily 10,000 kilometres away from the City of Jena. Not within walking distance, however musically a piece of cake. Because if there's one thing House can do, it's open hearts without boundaries. Von Krup also feels very much at home in Deep House. But as an audiovisual artist his work does not stop at pleasantly tempered bass drums and shimmering synth chords. That's precisely why we couldn't get his demos out of our heads. Von Krups tracks are musical kaleidoscopes - full of different timbres and natural sounds. Yet at the same time also abstract and glitchy, flippy and jazzy. In his first EP with us, Von Krup creates another sonic fingerprint of Mexiko city, this place of multicultural fusion, which is fascinating and almost intangible. Four Trackstracks, four faces – super schoentl.

And then the next contrast. Suddenly a jazz libertine emerges from a dark dimmed house track. The saxophone plays freely and battles an analog synth, however, there are no winners or losers here. In the end, everyone is united in deepness.
