The Great Dutch Rivers

**The great Dutch Rivers **

In the middle of the Dutch lowlands, the great rivers — de Waal, la Meuse and der Rhein — move slowly through the landscape.
Despite their constant bustle, the ships, the crossings, the endless activity, they carry a quiet kind of beauty.
A wide, patient grace that belongs only to rivers shaped by flat land and long horizons.

And between them lies de Linge — small, still, almost hidden.
A gentle line of water drifting past orchards and soft green fields,
a place where time seems to loosen its grip and everything breathes a little easier.

All of them make their way toward the North Sea delta,
each river carrying pieces of the land before releasing them into the world.

frenq has turned these waters into an ambient‑tinted album — a soundscape where the noise fades, the rush slows,
and even the busiest rivers find their calm.

Tell frenq if you like these ambient recordings?

(Rivers is dedicated to frenq's departed musical friend Hein!)
