In addition to calling us, God has forgiven us. This means God will forget our sins. To forgive means to forget, for the forgetting of sins is the real forgiveness of sins.

A number of verses in Romans speak of God justifying the believers. Justification is God’s action in approving people according to His standard of righteousness. God’s righteousness is the standard, not ours.

God’s work includes His calling, forgiving, justifying, reconciling, receiving, regenerating, washing, sanctifying, and glorifying the believers. Let us briefly consider these matters one by one.
a. Calling the Believers: To be called into the fellowship of God’s Son is to be called into the partaking of, the participating in, His Son. This is to be called to partake of and to participate in the all-inclusive Christ.
b. Forgiving the Believers
In addition to calling us, God has forgiven us. This means God will forget our sins. To forgive means to forget, for the forgetting of sins is the real forgiveness of sins.
c. Justifying the Believers
A number of verses in Romans speak of God justifying the believers. Justification is God’s action in approving people according to His standard of righteousness. God’s righteousness is the standard, not ours.
d. Reconciling the Believers

If you have only knowledge and lack wisdom, you will not be able to initiate anything or invent anything.

Revelation 4:8 says, “The four living creatures…have no rest day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God the Almighty, who was, and who is, and who is coming.” The mentioning of “holy” three times, as in Isaiah 6:3, implies the thought of God being triune, as the mentioning of God’s existence with three tenses does. The emphasis here is that the Triune God is holy and is triply holy, referring to the quality of God’s nature—God’s being. What God is, is holy. To partake of God’s holiness (Heb. 12:10) is to partake of the quality of His nature, of what He is.
G. RIGHTEOUSNESS
Another attribute of God is righteousness. God is righteous as well as holy. Whereas holiness is related to God’s inward nature, righteousness is related to God’s outward acts, ways, actions, and activities. Everything God does is righteous.

Like the church and the kingdom, the New Jerusalem is a person. When some hear that the New Jerusalem is a person, they may say, “The New Jerusalem is a city. How can you say that the city is a person?” The Bible indicates that the New Jerusalem is a person in Revelation 21, where we are told that the New Jerusalem is “prepared as a bride adorned for her husband” (v. 2) and that she is “the bride, the wife of the Lamb” (v. 9).
