of God hovered over the surface of the water. 3 Then God said, "Let there be light"; and there was light. 4 God saw that the light was good, and God
divided the light from the darkness. 5 God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. So there was evening, and there was morning, one day.”

Part 1 deals with the empty chaos that was on the earth, before God created light and time. Than God’s voice speaks - “Agnus Dei” which means
“Lamb of God” - which points to the Son of God being the source, salvation and fulfillment of humankind and creation itself.
The speaking of God creates time and light, a big climax of part 1.

Part 2 starts with a big bassdrum in a heartbeat-like pattern, like the heartbeat of creation starting up, which develops into a homophonic chord pro-
gression, depicting unity, oneness, and peace after the choas of part 1. A soaring melody and a middleground movement in contrast to the dark
character of the chord progression depict the separation of light form darkness.
