This mix, a collaboration with my good friend DJ Solo, serves as a tribute to John Hughes and all his iconic 80s teen movies like Pretty In Pink, Sixteen Candles, and The Breakfast Club. Like his films, we wanted to channel the optimism of youth and the thrill of first love and self discovery. Thus, In Between Dreams contains a lot of great uptempo new wave from that era, as well as some modern rock tracks which also embody that vibe. Simply said, this is a mixtape for romantics and dreamers...
