We loved the fresh sound and wanted to put on a party where we could play this music. There was only our friends Electricsex who were doing parties with similar music in San Antonio.
Funky House was still the order of the day in most bars & popular parties at that time. We were told that Electro House was a bit risqué to play at the newely opened Hush in the West End, but they would give us a chance! We plastered San Antonio with stickers and gave invitations & CDs (with this mix) to as many workers & friends as possible... Luckily it went well and they let us carry on the party each week that summer :-)
