Filmriss was born in Hannover, Germany. Being exposed to electronic music since his early ages, and having experienced a good amount of Drum’n’Bass and Techno acts, Filmriss started to DJ soon after, feeling the need to give the art of DJing his very own interpretation. Little time having passed, he started playing at smaller gigs around Hannover, gaining experience and developing a better feel fo
r his style. Moving through different types of techno in his early years, he felt somewhat disconnected with the development and the direction the scene was moving and therefore decided to feel out the Drum’n’Bass scene, as he’d been a close follower ever since he was first exposed to it. His style is loud and dirty, with a great variety of current, as well as older tracks, with a mixing style that is fast paced and leaves no time to keep your feet still.
