Louise ‘Fifties’ O’Donnell is a dedicated music follower from broken beats to jackin’ techno, bass heavy grime to party funk vinyl. Djing since 2006, her training ground was the ‘The Cell’ in Lincoln where Andy George & Jaymo’s ‘Moda’ night began and she became a favourite with her warm up skills. Also experienced as a peak time player, her genre defying sets have taken her across the UK and Northern Ireland playing everywhere from Wickerman to the infamouis Lush at Kelly’s Nightclub. Receiving high praise from both DJ Mag and featuring in iDJ’s Raw Talent before she had even played a gig, this is not just any dolly dj!
During playtime, this talented lady has carved a name for herself as the prolific journalist on the blog scene as ‘Editor’ for music blog LifeSupportMachine.co.uk. Having her own monthly show on NSBRadio keeps her at the forefront of the scene.

Here is a wee mix I did using some of my faves from over the years. From ‘You Only Live Twice’ in 1967 to this year’s Sam Smith - ‘The Writing's On The Wall’, there are just so many classics.

After finishing my mix i handed things over to 2400baud to do his magic and throw in some samples for some razzle dazzle …..

This is only available on Mixcloud (The Soundcloud copyright demons would have a field day with this one!) but if enough people want a CD (for the car, you know) I’ll get a small amount pressed.
Please ‘like’ this and tell me about your fave Bond song!

‘A serious talent’ (DJ Magazine)

With everything from Baleric house to Drum and Bass, I have tried to include all the genres that I love and play in 30mins! Hopefully, it will take the listener on an uplifting musical journey not knowing what to expect next. This year sees me hanging up the cds and vinyl and going completely digital with Ableton and the beloved APC40 after. I have experience as a warmup and peak time dj with my roots at The Cell in Lincoln where I often played at Andy George & Jaymo's night - Moda. Now I live in Northern Ireland.
