In this second installment, we take a look at the broad flexibility that the electro-swing genre covers. Much sampling is absorbed from sounds of the 20's-40's, but also newly-recorded contemporary audio and vocals can comprise the core content as well. Electro-swing isn't restricted to pure swing, allowing artists versatility to create hybrids such as swing house, swing hop, and ghetto swing, and to integrate familiarities from classic pop, club, jazz, big band, broadway, television, and even cartoons.
