I love this little transcendent scene from Richard Linklater's Boyhood film, where the son asks his dad: "So what's the point of everything?" ...and he goes: "Sh*t I don't know. Neither does anybody else. We're all just winging it." He's right. Some people try to hide it, but I think deep down we really are just a bunch of kids, constantly trying to navigate ourselves into the world. And it can be scary at times. Fucked up even. But have you noticed how every group of little kids feels invincible on their imaginary adventures? I think this doesn't go away either...
