Italian native Fab Samperi may be new to Freshly Squeezed but has previously worked with or remixed the likes of Skeewiff, Smoove & Turrell and Basement Freaks and here easily justifies his place on the label with a killer cut.

Following hot on the heels of the iTunes-charting ‘Blue Cover’ EP Vol.2 comes the 10th single in this highly acclaimed series… we are really pleased and excited to maintain the tradition of these EPs by offering yet another guaranteed floor-filler.

The A side - The Big Swing - comes in two versions; a radio-friendly edit and a longer club version, both featuring original vocals from Louis Armstrong’s wife and manager Lil (pictured on the sleeve), while the AA side - The Gangster Blues - tantalisingly bridges the gulf between hip-hop and electro swing with guest vocals from Geo Johnson and Chantal.
