"Fun story about this tune: The tune originally had an ungodly-low sub/key for the majority of the tune. This was mostly due to the Mackie HR824 monitors we used at the time. They're a lot of fun but the low end is seriously hyped up, so you monitor with a lower bass response than most large-scale PA rigs!
We noticed a slight issue of the bass being lackluster to nonexistent at some shows, so last minute we switched the entire key of the tune. This is why the synth sounds may come across as plastic-y, yet organic. Also I was never happy with the drums on this, but alas that was the dubstep sound back around 2011.
