Darker Sounds are hosting their 7th annual remix contest, you have the chance to remix Hefty's upcoming track "Blacksite"

The winning techno / minimal remixes (chosen by Hefty) will be released by Darker Sounds on an EP (including Hefty's original mix) and will be available on digital format through the usual online outlets (Beatport, Juno etc).

Any winning PSYCHEDELIC / ELECTRO remixes will be released on Heftys psy label Erebos Records

The contest will run from 31st OCTOBER until 11th JANUARY 2019 which hopefully gives everyone enough time to get involved.

Contest rules:

1. Remixes in the following genres are acceptable - TECHNO - MINIMAL - ELECTRO - PSYCHEDELIC

2. Upload your remix to Soundcloud, Hearthis etc etc and then please post your REMIX LINK HERE ON THE EVENT PAGE!!!!!!! Soundcloud links are preferable. Posts to event page must be ACCEPTED by admin before they appear on the page so dont worry if you posted your remix and it does not show here.

3. Only ONE submission per artist, post FULL tracks, NO previews or "work in progress" - Mp3 320kbps or wav is fine, unmastered or home mastered. (WINNING ENTRIES MUST BE ABLE TO SUPPLY UNMASTERED WAV FILE)

4. Make sure you turn "DOWNLOADS" OFF!!!!!!! And please do not allow your entry to be uploaded/downloaded from social media sites or Youtube etc.

5. You MAY NOT use these remix parts again for original material OR make your remix available for download after the competition is over without PERMISSION from Hefty!!!!

7. Contest is open to ALL producers, signed or unsigned, but we are definitely looking for new undiscovered talent :)

11. You have until January 11th 2019 so take your time and dont rush your remix, make sure it meets the high standards of Darker Sounds, there are no prizes for finishing early!!!
