"Two-dimensional field mapping of an oblique slice causes ambiguity in determination of the degenerate spherical harmonics terms."
(NMR in Biomedicine)

What do biomedicine and making music have in common? I don't know. By browsing through the denotations of my pseudonym, I just found this quote appealing. My first full-length album is divided into three cuts to be released within three months. Each cut is centered around certain harmonics and sonic spectrums, rather than certain music styles. I hope you find the result coherent, wether you prefer IDM, Ambient or more funkadelic genres.

For the oppurtunity to publish at EndTitles I like to thank my friend Dominik Grenzler (AN MOKU) who also supported me with concepts, art work and channels. I am proud to be a part of this splendid plattform. Furthermore, I highly regard the excellent mastering by Weldroid (Tamas Zsiros). I also like to thank synth module manufacturers und the modular community for providing the tools and space making electronic music production fun again.

Passage (for X) 5 is the 4th piece of the 5 pieces album «Passage» by Wilhelm Matthies. Available as Compressed, Lossless and Special Edition.

«An inspiration for the album, Passage, is a journey a friend of mine is undergoing to overcome a rare form of cancer. Although he wishes to remain unknown, his courage in facing mortality is an inspiring gift. All proceeds of the charity plan will go to the Cancer Research Institute.» – Wilhelm Matthies.

About the instrument: The mosesa5C was used to perform Passage (for X) 5, the posted preview piece for this album. This 5th generation mosesa instrument was created in July 2014. It is roughly 48” (120cm) long. The resonators are replaceable, re-positionable, plastic bottles. The plastic gives the instrument a unique sound quality, roughly similar to a skin plate. Wood bridges were used to create greater sustain and bass response..
