the metal salad tongs and the kitchen timer

This electro acoustic challenge started off with the second draw in the kitchen , the utensils draw—boy what a lot of useless things have collected in there
for cooking with but the kitchen timer, knife sharpener , metal salad tongs, various scissors were all recorded for possible potential as percussive and gong like tones.
I tried to limit my processing to just cut copy paste, pitch and filtering effects( which still gives plenty of scope!)
Using Metasynth and Audition for processing and Logic for further assembly filtering and convolution reverbs
“the metal salad tongs and the kitchen timer” was conceived of as being in three parts , so apologies for the stately 7 minute duration,
the first and last part are mostly Metasynth processing and the middle part was made by putting the kitchen recordings as sample sources in Alchemy and Omnisphere virtual synths.
