Eddie Hale

Melbourne, Victoria, Australia

Whilst studying jazz guitar as a teenager Eddie discovered electronic music and began experimenting with computers and sound. Soon after, exposure to warehouse raves led him on a journey to his current interests in techno.

Eddie was asked to remix American techno weapon ‘Il Salto Fuori’ on Teggno Records in 2013 and this inspired momentum for more of his productions and remixes which have steadily been released since.

He has collaborated with Berlin techno producer Ray Kajioka (Cocoon / Kanzleramt) to make the acclaimed track ‘Orbital Funk’, and has released EPs on Brazilian label Different is Different Records, Berlin label Paranoid Dancer and Florian Meindl's highly respected Flash Recordings.

More recently, Eddie's ‘Xanthite’ EP on DJ 3000's Motech Records in Detroit made some waves, garnering support from taste-makers Karotte, Nicole Moudaber, Joris Voorn, Alexander Kowalski and Booka Shade amongst others.

Eddie's deep and powerful live and DJ sets walk the line between Detroit and Berlin influenced techno whilst maintaining a modern and energetic sound. This has seen him perform at well-known events in Holland (Amsterdam Dance Event), Germany, and of course at home in Australia.

There are plenty more releases from Eddie lined up in 2016 and there is no sign of him slowing down.
