With me this month is Scott Fraser. One Half of the fantastic Crimes of the future record label & club night with Timothy J Fairplay. Scott just started he's new label DX Recordings. So he'll be in the studio drinking booze, having a chat & taking to the decks for an hour mix.

Here's more about the man.

One of the unsung soldiers of the UK underground, Scott Fraser first came to the attention of many through his role in BIOS, whose dark jacking techno for labels like the US Black Nation records throughout the 1990s. Regular parties at Glasgow’s Sub Club along with international DJ and live performances established him as a DJ and producer of considerable promise.
As time progressed, he began delving into slower, more psychedelic pastures, eventually moving to London where he joined forces with the likes of Andrew Weatherall, Timothy J. Fairplay and Andy Blake and Joe Hart, while gaining a reputation as a class DJ through numerous city-wide gigs and releasing a clutch of well-received productions on labels including Bird Scarer, World Unknown, Tusk Wax, Astrolab and remixes for Virgo Four on Rush Hour, The Asphodels, Antoni Maiovvi, Black Merlin and Inhalt.
2012 saw him setting up the Crimes of the Future club night with Timothy J. Fairplay with late 2013 seeing the birth of the record label of the same name.
Crimes of the Future has now firmly established its self as both international label and touring club night with a series of essential 12” releases throughout 2014 coupled with dates across the UK, Europe and the USA along with appearances on the Boiler Room and Beats in Space with Tim Sweeney.
As a producer and remixer, Scott has delivered a string of successful solo 12”s and remixes for some of the best house and techno labels and artists across Europe and the UK and has also worked with bands such as Village Green Recordings’ Ellis Island Sound.
2014 saw Scott cement his reputation as a first class international DJ and live act with performances across Europe and further afield with notable highlights as diverse as Fabric in London, Output in New York, Drugstore in Belgrade, Nuit Noire in Los Angeles and Animals Dancing in Melbourne.
He also co-runs the successful Body Hammer party in London with Joe Hart from World Unknown.
2015 will see Scott play at Bloc Festival, Crimes of the Future, Bodyhammer and a return to the US for a second tour. Releases are already lined up on respected European and US labels along with remix requests for several international artists of note including the re release and remix of the Fini Tribe’s classic 101 on One Little Indian records for Record Store Day 2015 and his first solo release for Crimes of the Future as “Nothing but Blood” which includes a remix from Silent Servant.
Spring 2015 Will also bring a new physical record label from Scott called “DX Recordings” which will be exclusively for his own more club focused house and techno material, the first release arriving in mid May.
