Dupli-Life was founded in 25 A.D. by our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, hallowed be his Name, and has since then become one of the biggest Underground Hip-Hop-Lables of all time.

Although Jesus had many doubters no one could deny his skill when it came to laying down some verses for his followers. He had many haters and even fell for one of the first snitches in history but after his death he saw it as his destiny to rise again and lay the smack down to all whack MCs who ever doubted him. After this, a collection of his rhymes was published and became the best selling and most influential book of all time.

After his second departure some of his followers took it upon them to continue Jesus' legacy and founded the first small brand that would today be known as one of the biggest lables modern Hip-Hop had ever seen: Dupli-Life! Disguised as a Religion, Dupli managed to stay alive throughout all those years without becoming irrelevant, however the true intentions behind the organisation happened without the knowledge of the public. Only a few chosen statesmen, aristocrats and ohter people of the High Class were ever inagurated in the true proceedings of the organisation.

Dupli-Life stayed underground for a long time until they decided to step into the limelight again to support the common man in the struggle against their state in the late 1700s. So with the Support of their peers behind them, the French laboring class managed to overthrow their gouvernment and change the whole continent of Europe in the process.

Keeping with their previous receipe for success Dupli-Life dissapeared again and after some time no one knew if it ever really existed. But sure enough, another giant historical incident, known as the second Wor(l)d War took place right under the nose of our highest members. They realized what went wrong and stepped back in the game with even bigger force than ever before. Without anyone noticing, our leaders challenged the Fuhrer of the Third Reich to an Underground Rap-Battle. Although Hitler was known as a great public speaker and had also proven his skill on the mic, he did not stand the littlest chance against the combined forces of our cherished Label. He could not stand his loss at the great (Rap)Battle of 1945 and decided the only way to cope with it was to obliterate his own whack existence.

This was another big breakthrough in the History of Dupli which then began to expand even further. In the early 80s big Rap-Acts like Public Enemy, Grandmaster Flash, A Tribe Called Quest, Big Daddy Kane and the N.W.A. began cooperating with Dupli and createded what is now known as Modern Hip-Hop. The Golden Age of Rap was coined by war on the streets and a feud between the East- and West-Coast of the USA. Many great souls were lost in these battles but what no one knew was that the biggest names of these times, Tupac Shakur and The Notorious B.I.G both started out as friends under the Dupli Name. After a seemingly minor argument over some lines escalated, the two declared war on oneanother and Dupli was never the same. Because of the feud, the Label began to split in multiple directions before disappearing completely into obscurity.

After some years now a couple of aspiring young rappers discovered the secrets of Dupli-Life and decided to breathe new Life into the now soulless Hip-Hop game. They decided to put one of the greatest and most important Rap-Lables back on the map, and this time bigger and better than it ever had been.

What you are seeing now is the product of these rappers, all from a small town in Switzerland. So keep looking out for releases under the Dupli-Name, for it will change the future of this game. Again.
