For our next podcast, we have again a tremendous talented duo. These Techno Minded Heroes are part of the driving force behind the Vault sessions events in Amsterdam, Which they brought top-notch name’s like Surgeon, Exium, Truss, Headless horse man, Pearl, Ontal, Regis, UVB, SNTS, Scalameriya to this fine city and even partnered up with Tresor for their 25 Years tour.

Most recently they teamed up with Tommy four seven to bring the renowned Berlin based party and label 47, to Shelter, the newest underground location in amsterdam. We went there and it was a blast! And for their next edition on king’s day, the dutch national holiday, they are bringing the illustrious Token records to Shelter. So if you ever planned to go to Amsterdam, this is the day you go! Because it’s 2 birds with one stone, you get the king’s day madness combined with one of the most anticipated events of the year!

Besides all this they have been racking up gig’s the last few years in and around Amsterdam, illegal and legal, Solo and as a duo, So if you ever see them on a line-up, just go and know you’re in for some quality techno!

Biography

Lexed:
Alexander van Zweden, born in Blaricum, presently based in Amsterdam and beter known as LEXED.
Co-owner and founder of THEBARKINGDOG, a music platform that brings a slightly different sound of various artists.
As a boy he was raised with music so it was no suprise that he felt extremely comfortable in the music scene.
It all started in an attic in ’t Gooi’. Just a couple of speakers and some friends. It didn’t take long for LEXED to develop a passion for minimal and electronic music. And so it was unavoidable that he would buy his own decks and start to experiment with the music that he loved. It didn’t take long before he played anywhere he got the chance to show of his unique tech-house sound. But after a while he felt that even tech-house didn’t satisfy his need for banging music. So eventually he ended up in the techno scene, which wasn’t a big leap from the tech-house scene.
Nowadays when people see the name LEXED they think of the dark and deep techno sounds that he brings, the kind of sounds that gets you going and keeps you going, all night long. 18 years old and playing at several clubs and events, LEXED is on his way to become a well recognised name in the techno scene

Phobia:
Phobia is a hybrid dj/live act formed by a collaboration of two young electronic dj’s and producers. On stage, they present music that seeks for different depths in different styles, reliant to the time they play and the artists they are with. Their vision when they produce are nonetheless equal; they explore different tonal and rhythmic grounds in the area of electronic music. These differences are reflected from a range between deep and liquid to dark and rough. In the long run, this variety in their productions and sets will keep the audience triggered and thrilled in different ways. They have released on labels like Genesa and Labrynth and there is many more to come from this promising duo.
