Bio:

The Project stems from an Idea from Wolf on the 24th of May in 2011. The Goal was to produce a Dubstep Track to Play on a so-called "Dorfrunde" (Driving arround the Village in a Circle). With this Task in Mind dan_g started to build his first Dubstep track for Wolf on this Evening. After it was finished the track was namend "No Time" by Wolf. The Foundations were layed to start a whole Project with a Full Album planed. Without a Name such a Project is without any sense. The Naming was not as easy as one might think. Idealy it had to be a German Name thats easy to remember and also with a clear Message to all. Afters numerous brainstorm sessions at "Bude" and other Places (Thanks Lisa ;D) a name was found. on 26t of May the Name was found: "Dorfrunden Massaker". The planed Debut Album "komm du mir ma hemm" should combine Beats and Bass in a way so that every "Dorfrunden"-Driver is motivated to drive even more Rounds.

Release History:

First Release was called "Bodenplatte EP" in July of 2011. The 4 first Tracks of Dorfrunden Massaker were handed out to a wider Audience.

In the year 2012 the long awaited first Album "komm du mir mal hem" from the two Boys came out. The Longplayer was released shortly before the first and till now only Live-Gig of Dorfrunden Massaker on 29.06.2012: "ndf at night". The LP consists of 11 Tracks from the two franconian Bassheads.

After the long and exausting work on the Album there was a needed break.

This break was used by the two to expand their musical horizons and work on new Tracks secretly. The outcome: The EP "Enner muss es ja mach" end of 2015. 6 Tracks full of energy Tracks with a VIP of the most known Track "Roboter Polizist". This EP was clearly more brutal and heavy and drifted slowly but surley to deathstep.

henceforth it got more and more difficult for the two to get together in the studio. Therefore Dan_g took the main Project Work in his hands to obtain the Spirit of DRMSKR, as its called in short. That its far from over was demonstrated with the 2018 Release of "Heimatmelodien". 4 to the last detail constructed deathstep Tracks and the Remix Competition Entry from Code:Pandorums Album Track "Deathsquad" bring the fire. Back to the roots to funny German Movie and TV Samples and new pounding Machingun Basses leave no wishes open.

Prior to the first ever Release on a Label for DRMSKR some big desicion was made. A Re-branding to reach out to non German Speaking folks. So "Dorfrunden Massaker" became "Dread Massaker" on 28.10.2019. After This Change The Track "Shubb-Nigguraths Dream" got released on 01.11.2019 on the Label "Half Human Audio" in Indonesia. Furthermore there are some more Milestones comming in 2020.
