IN ORDER TO EXPLORE
In quantum mechanics, the Heisenberg uncertainty principle states by precise inequalities that certain pairs of physical properties, like position and momentum, cannot simultaneously be known by arbitrary precision. That is, the more precisely one property is measured, the less precisely the other can be measured.

THE QUANTUM MECHANICS - A SYSTEM IN UNISON
Tangled in the equations of Quantum Mechanics, Parham Shafti & Dominic Plaza are riding the sine waves as a system in unison. In order to explore the assumptions of its’ nature, the duo interact to map out the fundamental elements that unifies these theories.

Better described as a turbo-charged mission that bridges the boundary between the quantum and the everyday world, they push the levels of the mind, to understand the complexity that lies behind the vivid experience we call life.

Having music as their palette, their interpretations during this excursion have resulted in a series of releases under various monikers, the prime one being The Quantum Mechanics. An alias where they comfortably strive to redefine wave packets and the body of electronic music, giving rise to new hybrid sounds and definitions. Statements boldly contending with the ‘old school’ of thought.

With a generated form of logic, their conceptual language roams in between the organic ambience of dub to the hypnotic groove of house and the explosive sound of techno. A three-valued fusion introduced by the new breed to allow their audience the additional status of 'undecided' when asked for preferences, giving them freedom to go where no man has musically gone before.

Like a bullet fired from a rifle, the phenomenon of The Quantum Mechanics is the sign of the shift to worldwide realization that all knowledge is limited, that there is no such thing as absolute certainty

PARHAM & PLAZA
Parham & Plaza teamed up almost a decade ago and have since been establishing their brand as two of the top producers in the modern electronic dance music scene by releasing tracks for some of the worlds hottest record labels. With their unique "hybrid sound" they have both been busy touring the world while several of their productions have hit various acknowledged charts worldwide

Following up their recent releases on Composite Records and Indigo Raw, Parham Shafti & Dominic Plaza, aka The Quantum Mechanics, are back with their second installment on the relaunched Unfokused Music. Here the duo's mission to explain the unexplainable continues with two new outstanding cuts, Release Room and Mind Tricks.

Release Room is a straight for the dancefloor jackin house belter that will set you on fire. With a funky drum pattern and a expressive baseline the tracks solid foundation will tingle you into the mood while the mesmerizing chords roll in to work you up and release you into oblivion.

Mind Tricks in the other hand keep things plain and scruffy, a steady rhythm underpins the hypnotic melodies, fused to create a deep housey groove. The snazzy builds and drops combined with a radiated deep bass will keep your body occupied while the track reaches it full momentum tricking your mind.

On the remix side, the mighty Sasse and his partner in late night crime, the notorious James Flavour (also known as one half of Dirt Crew) join in to show us their tricks. With their combined experience the two elegantly take on where the original leaves you and aim straight for a heart trick that resembles us of moody dancefloor moments from early 90's, modified to take place in a near future.

The Underworld EP marks the re-launch of the Indigo Raw label after a brief hiatus.
The imprint kicks back into life with the debut production from Barcelona based Sassafras. The production outfit comprises of label bosses Mirus (Norway) & Paul Loraine (U.K) Dominic Plaza (Sweden) and vocalist Nikol Kollars (Hawaii).
For the lead track and source material for 3 remixes, the intercontinental crew drop a captivating, Mushrooms-esque narrative over sensual tech beats. To expand the package the talents of three hot artists are enlisted to add their own interpretation of Kollar’s highly personal story telling.
The original track starts with dry drums and the sultry uttering of Kollars. With a stripped back pulse beneath her, she unravels the story of a dark underworld that she feels intrinsically part of. Her intensely personal delivery picks at the understanding of party culture and will find resonance with all true lovers of the electronic scene.
Hatikvah’s remix is dark and pumping, with otherworldly synths creating space for the track to soar. Firm drums help to drive home the darker side of the story, with Kollars firmly in the driving seat.
Now fully on board behind the scenes at Indigo Raw, Paul Loraine rolls out a muscular reinterpretation. Subtly twisting and playing with the vocal over a marching tribal beat, Loraine shifts the focus of the track. From a meandering after hours ode, the vocal now pulls no punches, finding itself squarely on the floor.
Adding bounce to the package, new-comer to Indigo Raw, Vlad Malinovskiy draws out the human tones, upping the sex factor with a lighter, rushing remix. Keeping things percussive and energetic, his addition works in contrast to the other tracks, rounding off the EP in assertive style.
