Jelly Roll Soul began in 2010, the driving force behind their night is the love and the influence Jamie, Ryan and Robert had (and continue to have) from the deep and dusty sounds of both Detroit and Chicago alike.
Its easy to see why the Glasgow based night has built up such a cult following when you see the past guests they've had. As the myth goes many people online thought Leonid was Patrice Scott using another guise. I was shocked to later find out that Paul Smith aka Leonid was not only NOT Patrice Scott under a pseudonym but was Irish and even stranger he originally lived 10 minutes away from my home.
