destroyed by natural disaster - Hurricane Maria , that they need to continue on
regardless .. This 4 minute high energy display of love and encouragement is a
must listen for any audience. Athenia , writer and performer of A Song in my
Head, has again nailed it in this heartfelt creation.
‘As a fellow Dominican, I have been deeply saddened, and affected by the
recent weather events . I remember too, those facing natural tragedies in other
parts of the world , this song is their mantra to overcome. ’
Devon, a seasoned pan player has accentuated this song to perfection. His skills
with the instrument is clearly defined in the performance on this track. Listen till
the end you wont be disappointed .
My most heartfelt creation to date, 7six7 DSTM comes from a place of extreme
compassion for a country which largely shaped my life and will continue to
influence my future. After the devastation from Category 5 Storm , Maria, all I
could do was hope that the survivors could some day re find that music in their
